"Went today looking forward to their advertised Sunday Roast. Both dinners came out cold as if the meats had been cooked Saturday night and reheated on the Sunday. The vegetables werent much warmer either although the roast potatoes were good and hot. Left disappointed having paid £18 a dinner with cold meats. Wont be rushing back but will try other restaurants in that area as there are a few with similar menus."

"We have booked for a family dinner, 8 of us and a high chair. the table top was placed for 6 2. who would do that? the service was very slow to feel as if we had brought them out.....and to ask for everything, drink to order food when the food came, we didn't get any cutlery. my partner meal actually came with a pot on the plate....it was empty! how can a cook and a server not notice that it was empty? we had to remove our own plates from our table to the next empty, which was not deleted either. we were not asked if we wanted dessert or tea/coffee. we had to go into the bar and ask for more drinks. Eating was okay, but expensive for what it was, nothing special. do not even ask for something similar to a simple cocktail. be careful when they ask for gin to drive it up. without asking you!"

"Decided to take my wife and mother in law for lunch service was good and friendly.my wife had scampie for her main she declared it the best she had ever had i did not fare so well with my steak.orderd blue but was cooked medium and was a bit on the tough side. we loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. mother cant wait to go back. not the cheapest lunch,but that was due to the lage glasses of wine we ordered we will be back"
