"Went there with a group of friends for a dinner, we all ordered bunch of stuff from the menu including Tapas, paella and wine. We all loved the authenticity in the flavours and food was made with true passion. Special mention to the lady who runs this place for patiently explaining the menu. Also save some appetite for the dessert as well."

"Went for lunch Wed 30th Oct. It was very quiet maybe because it was later in the afternoon. The young lady on reception was helpful with the gluten free options. I had poached eggs on salmon with hollandaise sauce. Lots of salmon and the eggs were perfect. My husband had pulled pork which was tasty and tender,overall a very good lunch."

"The service is excellent and food. October 2017 Update......Wow the food was absolutely excellent. One problem was the dessert plate was to flat.... when gathering the dessert up I had to use my finger to quickly push it on to my spoon."

"Good food, swift service, nice coffee. We were sat outside the cafe, in a common area, so ambience was a bit lacking but looks much nicer inside, from what little I saw. Seemed a little pricey for the size of the portions, but the kids menu is small but good pancakes have anise or something in them and are absolutely delicious! 4.5 stars+"

"Parking great staff wonderful Sadly I couldn't get outside as the rear area was locked off so I found my self in a stinking small area sectioned off for smokers that was horrific . Was told they would unlock the door so next time won't hesitate . The food here is fast tasty very well priced for me remains as the major draw"

"What a cool little place for dinner! The food was amazing!!! Well past our expectations and the staff were really lovely and helpful too! We are heading there again tonight and looking forward to another great meal. The steak is amazing, definitely recommended, and they make the BEST garlic bread pizza in Wellington!"

"I went to the crooked elm for dinner last night with my family, and despite it being busy the food and service was phenomenal! Great vegetarian options and the pies are just awesome! Really cool cozy atmosphere inside the pub as well! The Staff/team were so lovely and made us feel welcome! Highly recommend the crooked elm, we will be back soon!"
