"What a surprise in Schwarzwald! We thought we would not escape from schnitzels and wursts but found this restauarnt and we were soooo lucky to taste lamb, tuna, light salad with horseradish, risotto with fish and great desserts. The prices are reasonable and the dishes just excellent! Each dish is just perfectly planned and thought over. Even the traditional Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte was served in a nice and original way. No boredom here! We were with kids and they also had menu for them and they loved it! The service is caring and fast. Everybody so polite and full of advice! Not to miss in Donaueschingen!"

"Location In Donaueschingen the source and the confluence of the second longest European Danube River can be admired. After an exciting city tour, the Fürstenberg Bräustüble was centrally located and not to miss. Motorhome place at the fair. Ambience Dedicated Gemäuer from 1739 surrounds the interior of good-bourgeois yet furnished with a lot of style. Divided into the most diverse mares. The room is completely covered with a fireplace corner. The Becherstube is quite clearly structured with tile floor and white vault walls. We took place in hops and malt. The onions came twice on the plate, tiled and from the pan (cold and warm very unusual, the roast potatoes were from the pan, but a little pampered and also the noodles had exceeded their cooking point. The given flesh had his permission and the Fürstenberg beer tasted very sweet. Conclusion The source of the Fürstenberg beer comes from the Braustüble and the food is a defensive basis for it"

"With friends we were in the so-called "speciality house" a few days ago at dinner in donaueschingen. we have ordered "cross-beet " through the menu. simply inconceivable what was made up to us ... alone the big kartoffel with quark was in order ... the others feed a catastrophe. salted croquettes ... an alleged " pumpkin soup " whose taste was quite funny ... standing cola ... the absolute " hit " was the pfann cake with sweet and cheese or sose hollandaise ... they look at the pictures - an absolute (Fr)ess- müll. said the " boil " has tipped half a cunning over the pancake with the sweet. it is self-evident that we have complained about the " entire eating" at the competent service. the heart apologised - the hearty cook stood more or less anxious. the chefin of the house was informed about everything, but did not feel necessary to act on this dilemma and come to our table. the competent man above the service was friendly ... has wished us a nice evening... but none of us will ever enter this local more. to the advantage of this "speciality restaurant ", I would like to say that we did not have to pay the whole food - only we paid the drinks."
