"We booked ahead as it was a visit for my Husbands birthday. When we arrived we were old that they could not find the booking even though it had been made less than an hour before. Once we were seated it took quite a long time to be given the menus. There was a couple who arrived after us and they had drinks served to them almost straight away. Once we were given our menu the food was nice. In all honesty I did not feel that we were made very welcome and there was no acknowledgement of my Husband’s birthday either. Although that food was nice the service was poor."

"As a geordie I am not the favorit to buy my eating in london, I admit I have problems, but after looking for something to eat in greenford nothing was swimming my boat until I happily stumbled over this place, I bought a few takeaway rolls spicy thun fish and normal thun fish accompanied by a nice takeaway cuppa tee, just over 3 pfunds"

"Visited the pub with couple of friends for some dinner and drinks. Service provided by staff was one of the best ones I ever saw. Everyone was smiling and the overall vibe gave us that special feeling that we didn’t even want to leave. One person deserve special thanks Tomas the manager. Amazing customer service… always with smile on the face, really friendly and professional. Well done Tom. We will definitely come back !"

"We have been here a few times and always had a good time but it may be under new management and this experience was not so good. It started as soon as we arrived, two of us didn’t have face masks so were unsure whether to go home and get them or just go home. Whilst we were discussing, we were met at the door by a member of staff who quite abruptly asked what the problem was, we explained the situation and were simply told that staff had to wear masks so we did as well. No issue with that the rules are the rules but it could have been handled more politely. We were then offered masks and went in. We then enquired if the pub was under new management as the lady we were used to seeing wasn’t there and were met with “what’s the problem? Clearly there’s a problem or you wouldn’t ask so what is it? She’s not here tonight and were better off when she’s not” Again it was abrupt and said in such a manner as to come across almost hostile and for no reason. There was another customer (not with our party) who was perhaps a bit drunk and trying to open a locked door, he was told to f off and called a c by a member of staff who later told us that she wasn’t even working that night!! At two minutes to ten (pub closing at ten for Covid rules) one of our friends went in to use the toilet and when he came back out to the balcony where we had been sat to finish the last of his drink it was snatched from him. He asked to finish it and was told no and that staff had the power to confiscate drinks and we were to leave immediately. I fully understand that these are unprecedented times but a little patience and understanding would go so much further than just taking half full glasses. Had she explained herself better it wouldn’t have been a problem and he’d have just left the drink but to have it snatched away was over the top. She then swore agin as she walked away from us. Sadly not very professional and I won’t rush back, which is a shame as we’d had many a good night in there before."

"Overall it is a great place to dinate. shrimps and calmari for beginners were good, steaks were delicious my 500g was absolutely amazing. the personal is attentive and polite. for me were only down chips that were tiny, overfooted and with many tiny bits (like many very last bits of almost empty bags) they would not expect in the restaurant, even outside tables are a little too small for eating. in any case will be for more."
