"We have dined at Victoria's over the last few years it used to be good. Not sure if Chef has changed but the food has lost its quality and detailWe asked for the duck medium any chef knows not to over cook duck. It came out dry and overlooked even after requesting rare to medium. The oysters were lacking. And the steak. Once again what Chef cooks the life out of a steak and once again when asked rare to medium presents a tough overlooked steak which we leftManagement need to address the lack of communication between the waitress and the kitchen and you need to change your menu ! It's not fine dining but the prices are !"

"I had visitors from Sydney & took them here for lunch,we had the chicken pot pie which was superb except a bit too salty, (four of us agreed to this) we have also had dinner here, once again a beautiful pasta dish ruined by too much salt. We will give it another try as it's such a beautiful setting, especially outside but mainly because we like to support our locals.Please chef go a bit lighter on the salt & I would give you 5 circles."

"My husband and I chose Austin as we had previously had brilliant meals there. This was to be a special Valentines night dinner, it was a fixed menu, three course meal at over $100 per person.the entrée should have warned us of what was to come, it was cold and inedible, the main course was inedible for me and my husband's bore no resemblance at all to the menu description.I thought no one could stuff up the dessert, but I was wrong, the creme' caramel had a beautiful toffee crunch on top but the rest you could pour into a cup and drink.To add insult to injury, when I complained about my main course the waitress stopped refilling my water glass and only refilled my husband's and then we were given a $5 discount with no apology.I am not normally someone who complains but the treatment and attitude of the staff on the night caused me so much stress I will not return and I make sure all my friends are aware of the 'wonderful' Valentine's evening we experienced at this restaurant."

"Although the restaurant is a bit hard to find as you have to go through a pub bar - it is definitely worth it. The food was amazing - better than we've had in some big city restaurants. There was a good variety of vegetarian meals too. We were there on a Tuesday night which was quiet so we didn't have to wait long. Highly recommended for a tasty Thai meal."
