"Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und hält auch gehobenen Ansprüchen stand. Zur Spargelsaison z.B. mit frischen Morcheln. Service sehr aufmerksam. Gute Weine. Preislich eher gehoben . Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man schön im Innenhof. Am besten reservieren denn das Lokal ist gut besucht...."

"Meine Freundin und ich sind aufgrund der zwei guten Bewertungen eingekehrt. Was sofort auffiel: kleine Karte. Das wird ja in jeder Kochprofi-Rosins-Restaurant-Sendung gelobt :-)Und tatsächlich: Man hat das Gefühl, dass die Küche die angebotenen Speisen sehr stressfrei und damit vor allem gut und auf den Punkt an den Gast bringen kann.Salat: Sehr leckeres Dressing, sehr guter Geschmackt, Teller vielleicht etwas zu kühl (vermutlich durch Vorbereitung).Nudeln mit Bärlauchpesto und Hähnchenpuststreifen. Da passt "lecker" schon wieder - Portion schon fast zu üppig.Steak mit Pfeffersauce und Pommes. Garpunkt genauso getroffen, wie gewünscht (Medium, aber gerne noch gut rosa). Und eine Ruhezeit gab es auch - das sah man dem Fleisch einfach an. Alles einfach handwerklich sehr gut.Preise: Vermutlich aufgrund der Randlage günstiger, als an der Durchgangsstraße in Ihringen, aber nicht billig, sondern fair. Das Maienbrunnenstüble kann man einfach empfehlen - man bekommt hier eine sehr gute Leistung & Küche für sein Geld und verbringt eine gute Zeit."

"We went to this restaurant in Ihringen based on a recommendation from the Stigler winery. We sat out in the garden terrace which while right across the street from the train station was not particularly noisy. The wait staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The owner/chef came out to greet all the guests.One of my friends ordered the scallop/jumbo shrimp with chantrelle risotto and champagne foam. This was very well done and presented--well cooked, salted and the shrimp tails removed. Another friend had the veal steak cooked medium which was very tender. My wife had the vegetarian noodles with chantrelle mushrooms--very nice. I had the snail soup and the foie gras appetiser as my main course. The snail cream soup was presented with colourful petals of local summer flowers sprinkled over them--very pretty. The taste was, well, yummy. The foie gras teriine was served with a traminer jelly that was very nice. The waitress was nice enough to serve us tap water without a hassle (try getting that easily in Germany) and only a couple of Cokes. The bill was about 100 euros which is a good deal for the quality of food served and the service. Oh, yes, our two dogs were also given treats by the waitress. All in all, a wonderful experience and highly recommended,"

"We had a medium good carpaccio, fantastic chicken and a good wine. Our plan was to stay longer for dessert and coffee.But we got tired of waiting and listening to the service.We did not complain, specialfly not when we heard, how it was handled at other tables.Here is great food and wine, some good tables, but lack of service, which was'nt the case 3 days before."
