"The boathouse is somewhere that it doesn't matter what time of year, night, day, summer or winter, it is fantastic whenever you visit. Sunny days it has a patio with lovely views out. Inside it has a real homely feel. I've already recommended it to friends who holiday in Wales and I'll be sure to return. "The most wonderful menu, I could have chosen anything it all sounded so good. We decided to share starters and can highly recommend the chowder and black bomber soufflé. The duck and the lamb mains were beautiful. Cooked to perfection and lovely flavours. We were looked after by Michelle and Dave in the restaurant. Really attentive in just the right way. We were made so welcome and ended up chatting with them about local life which was a perfect way to end our evening. Thankyou both for making our evening really lovely."

"A little soulless with a lack of soft furnishings plus small, cafe style tables chairs (more than a little incongruous in the old hotel building). Service very cheery/friendly if slow. Odd things like taking a drinks order but not clearing all the empty bottles...from the table without being asked. Food very nice. Shared risotto starter was split for the kids without us asking which was a nice touch. Other starters also large. Mains not much larger but tasty. Very good local beer on draft."

"Lovely place. Perfect for a nice meal after walk along the beach. Dogs welcome. Alot of fish dishes. There is also a chicken option but mainly sea food. The fish and chips was best had in a while, batter was perfect, chips fantastic and very generous portain. Picture shows the fish pie meal which my partner said was amazing aswel.
