"One of our fave spots in Issaquah for any meal great breakfast or brunch, yummy lunches and delish dinners. Great (knowledgable, nice and caring) staff and present owner that often visits customer tables. One of a few places that serve (raw) oysters on half shell in Issaquah. Lovely outdoor patio on nice days. Cozy inside too with theatre drapes and brick facade. Sunday brunch is great...even for larger groups."

"After reading a few reviews, we stopped in to check out Sunset Alehouse for ourselves. Our status included the polenta and cheese covered tots. I enjoyed both. The polenta was nice and crispy. The tots were also crispy with lots of gooey cheese and bacon. We devoured both. For my entree, I had half of the peanut butter burger and the grinder. The grinder had the classic saltiness you'd expect and the bread was nice and firm as to not fall apart. The peanut butter burger was one of the better burgers of this type of variant I've had. The meat party was flavorful and supple. The peanut butter was pervasive in every bite which made the burger really stand out. The regular fries and sweet potato fries were good, but nothing special. My daughter had the chicken fried steak. I took a bite and didn't like it think it was good. That dish seemed like a big miss to me. Another member of our party had the grilled salmon, but didn't enjoy it since it was too salty. The server graciously took it off of our bill. If you like sportsbars bar food, I recommend giving Sunset Alehouse a try. The food and service are very good."

"The lobster Mac and cheese is exceptional I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life!!! I didn?t get photos but the appetizers We got were brussel sprouts and onion rings and they were SOOOO good! Everything here was great. I really enjoyed coming here and will be a repeat customer!!!"

"Amazing Tacos! But be sure to expect a wait time during lunch rush. Tip: Order in person and then do errands for 15-30 min and come back to pick up these delicious tacos.Hate writing this review because it would just add more time for waiting in line. But their tacos are BOMB and should be known to locals and visitors."

"We have a tradition once a month we do a 5k run then go the 12th Ave after. My son and i love love the food. The service is great, fast, friendly. We've tried other places, but none compare to 12th Ave. Get the Montana and dont leave before you try the freezer jam on the table."

"First time I visited this place was before the pandemic. The food were amazing and the price was reasonable. Ever since then I wanted to come back again. Finally I came back this time after so many years to have a birthday dinner for my mom. We ordered some appetizers, the New York center cut steak $40), filet mignon $48) and flatiron $36). The waitress assured us that the filet mignon is the most tender more like the most expensive). When the food came, all of the steaks were dry and hard while we ordered MEDIUM RARE, the least hard one was the flat iron but the flavor was just not right. Very disappointing. I know $40 for a steak is not going to get me anything fancy but I have had way better quality of steaks at the same price point. The appetizers were better than the entree, but still not good enough for me to come back again."
