"Appalling customer service. Stayed here one week ago. My booking document clearly state that I have agreed to pay £75 for a room and have opted to pay £14 for two breakfasts. When I paid at the accommodation I asked about the breakfast and was told there wasn't any. I then asked for a £14 refund. The two members of staff working at the bar were very unhelpful, clearly did not have any idea of customer service and told me thier manager was away and they could not issue a refund without their permission. I followed this up 3 hrs later and the incompetent staff members still were not able to do anything. I was promised that the next morning when I left somebody would be there to issue me a refund. The next morning, a third member of staff called Kevin told me he also wasn't able to issue me with a refund and told me to email the manager. It is now one week on. I have emailed twice and had no response. Do not stay here, the customer service is dreadful and the staff are simply not up to the job. I paid for bed and breakfast but this was not delivered. Totally unacceptable. Unbelievable that the management have not been bothered to email back in over a week!!!!"

"First visit only 4 stars. I would have been happy. staff of barkeeper to server, very polite and pleasant. the food I ordered. pork belly in soy and sticky toffe pudding. not unreasonable..totale bill for eating and 3x birra moretti..£34 would I go again? Yes. and if service and eat as well as this time, then there are 5 stars"

"This was always one of our family favourite restaurants and a Go-to venue for us. I am writing this as the last couple of times we have had mixed experiences and maybe a 3.5 would be a fairer score. On our last visit the starters were good with a nice Mozzarella in Carrozza and a good Tagliatelle alla Paesana starter. Our granddaugher enjpoyed her penne all moda and the pasta was ok. However the pizzas were not good with the bottom of my diavola very hard. The ham on the prosciutto just did not look right and we took that off as it looked very old. The ham in the calzone was also not good and this pizza was taken off the bill. All in all it was a disappointing night as generally the food was good and it may have just been a new pizza chef. We just want them to get the standards back to where they were."

"Underwhelming. We booked a table at short notice (we were seated within 30mins of ringing) which is good but an indication the restaurant isn't getting a huge number of visitors given that the time of our booking was at 7.45pm on a Saturday night. Unsurprisingly, the restaurant was quiet when we got there We were greeted by a maitre d, who mixed a faux Italian accent with broad Barnsley. He seemed oddly quizzical over the absence of our fourth guest (he'd popped to the toilet by the way no big deal we thought) We were then seated, promptly.
