"Outside the town of Kitzingen in Lower Franconia, not far from the former airfield of the American occupation forces, the officers' home of the soldiers used to exist. The guardians and the guardhouse are still witnessing the earlier use. Equipped with a Navi you can easily find there. Parking spaces on the complex can also be found. The restaurant can be reached either via the stairs wheelchair ramp and then back to the bunker cellar where the guest rooms are reached past the toilets and a dark hall. From the back of the house, where the guest garden is also located, there is another staircase down into one of the guest rooms ... bar, billiard room, and at least two rooms for hungry visitors I could register. The facility includes many details from previous use. The brightly red chairs at tables made of coarsely planned boards, window-like openings in the wall of the tile between the two rooms, a small window gallery out into the open and a lot of decorations make sure that the actual cellar space, once well visited, acts inviting to the visitor. An acquaintance had recommended us the place; together with a friendly couple we reserved a foursome table and returned to dinner tonight. On our arrival we were welcomed very friendly and led to our already covered table. There at the table candle was a small slate table with our name, the number of persons and the reservation time. Even the cards were already handy at the table. On a board, the tortured leaves were fixed with two wing screws; a kind of fur felt cover was sheet 1 ! "This restaurant is one of the best places in the world, friendly staff, affordable prices and I'd be more than happy to have a "Knoblauch steak" now.... The owner is a great cook. but also a nice guy, the beer always good and cold, the Wineschorle tastes great and A Schoppen, or three are always a good way to enjoy life. Anybody who's visiting this place won't be disappointed. I really miss your food a lot and hope that i can make it to you guys in October. Keep up the great job and keep some beers cold, please.
