"We do not get to this restaurant often, but, as they had a three course Valentine's dinner we visited and enjoyed a nice meal. My wife started off with the Honey Roasted Pear Salad and then the Steak main course finishing with a Lemon Tart. I had the Kushi Oyster starter then the Roast Duck and lastly the same dessert. Everything was well presented and service was good too. If anything needs attention it would be the wine list which does not present a great deal of choice. At $45.00 per person not including alcohol or gratuity it was still very good value."

"Ordered a takoyaki for to go. On the menu it says 5 pieces, but I only got 4. They told me the menu is wrong. Then really recommend to change the menu or remind the costumers before they order, not after they found out and asked"

"Four of us went for lunch and all of our meals were good. We had the Thai Chicken Salad, Black and White Burgers, Cod and Chips. The in-house micro brewed beer was awesome. We all had the IPA and also tried the beer flights, all were excellent. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. Atmosphere was fine. Would definitely go back."

"I recently dined at Brown Social House and wanted to share my experience. Overall, my visit had its ups and downs, with some aspects of the meal being enjoyable while others fell short of expectations. Let's start with the positives. The steak frites that I ordered were delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The accompanying fries were crispy and seasoned just right. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish and would highly recommend it to steak lovers. However, my friend’s experience with the chicken dish was disappointing. The chicken was excessively salty, making it difficult to savor the flavors. When we brought this to the attention of our attentive waitress, she was quick to respond and offered to replace the chicken breast with a grilled alternative. Regrettably, the replacement chicken breast had a bitter taste, which was equally unappetizing. At that point, we decided to abandon the chicken dish, brought it home and see how we can make it edible. It was unfortunate that the second attempt to rectify the issue did not yield a satisfactory outcome. One area that could use improvement is the attention given to the grill. It seems there was an issue with burnt substances on the grill, which affected the taste of the chicken. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to pay closer attention to this aspect of their cooking process to ensure consistent quality across all dishes. Despite the issues with the chicken dish and the grill, the overall experience at Brown Social House was decent. The attentive service provided by our waitress was commendable, and the steak frites were a standout. However, the inconsistent quality of the chicken dish and the presence of burnt substances on the grill detracted from the overall dining experience. I hope that Brown Social House takes this feedback constructively and addresses the areas that need improvement. With some adjustments, the restaurant has the potential to provide consistently excellent meals to its patrons."
