"A great French Café Bistro . Good honest food large portions delicious and fresh. I love this place the terrace is ideal for summer and indoor cozy for winter. It is great value totally unpretentious a family-run restaurant . Many...Salads Omelettes and other French dishes such as civet de canard . A large café-gourmand is also a bar or a place to take croisants and coffee watching the world go by. It's a must!"

"This is our first time here and jolly pleased we were that we found it. Situated within the arches on the north side of the square and hence offering a choice of sunny or shady tables. Lauzert is a stunning village on the Chemin de...St Jaques, pilgrim trail, and the square was full of walkers with rucksacks, anoraks, silly hats and Nordic walking poles. Some of them even lunced at Le Table des Trois Chevaliers. The restaurant has an inventive menu which strays beyond the same old dishes of confit, magret, foie-gras and steak with appealing vegetarian options. There didn’t seem to be a cheaper weekday menu, so this place puts itself forward as an ideal choice for Saturday lunch after browsing the market. I took the cheapest menu and started with an excellent gazpacho, whilst P had cabecou salad which she enjoyed immensely. My Parmentier de Canard was flavoursome, but drier than I expected. Her safron risotto with cured ham looked and tasted amazing. A pile of black rice topped with ham and surrounded by a pool of yellow saffron sauce. We finished with panacotta with a coulis of red fruits and cheesecake. We’ll definitely return, this was a good find. There was only one negative, the pop music coming out of the restaurant. It was quite loud enough on the terrace, inside it would have driven me wild."

"Arrived in Lauzerte to find that all the cafes around the square were not serving food at lunch eventually ended up here. Yes open and serving. The restaurant was almost full and with French business types obviously a popular spot as well it should be.The set meal including a good wine was 14 euros great value with a turtleneck of soup to start a plate of Pete and salad to follow then a beef stew with roast potatoes a delicious prune flan to round it off.Excellent."
