"Since I last reviewed this place it is clear that it has changed hands. Same basic idea: small menu, local produce, very reasonable prices. Shop and bar attached, and there's a terrace with stunning view if the weather is good. We lunched there yesterday during a downpour. Despite the fact that it's really end-of-season there were two other tables and various people dropping in for drinks or snacks at the bar. It's popular and rightly so. And being right on the road, is good for passing trade - visitors, walkers etc.The chef cooks to order - unless it's a slow-cooked dish already to hand - with a real flair for flavour. Our last meal here was good but this one had the edge. Home-made chips, too. The waitress is attentive and charming. Good local wines at fair prices and at the bar an excellent local brewed beer on tap. We didn't have room for pudding.The tables are large and solid and the room airy and decorated with some taste. The people of this village are extremely fortunate to have such a friendly and great-value bar/resto."

"Small picturesque village... a restaurant in the girl's school? Original...and a pair of Lyon with orders . still more original..Pieds of excellent breaded pork .andouillettes with top .plate of delicious desserts..Couple very nice euros the meal ! it's safe... we found a pepite"
