"This place has several locations in toluca, the new one looks really nice, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Food is really good, difficult to go wrong with any of the choices in the menu, and portions are huge. Meat is king in this place, with many other options on the menu... definitely recommend to visit"

"Over Priced. Steak are thin, They are tender but then again there is tenderizers. Service was terrible. No professionalism what so ever. The room temperature was elevated, we asked for AC and they just opened a window to a noisy avenue.This was Lunch. a Mediocre one at best.BTW the Split Bone Bone marrow dish will stay with you 12 hours. Bring Tums.WILL NOT BE BACK"

"I came to metepec for vacation because its proximity to Mexico City and not so busy. I was recommended by a local in metepec to taste el mezquite. I was pleasantly surprised, eating was delicious and the atmosphere is very peaceful and friendly. I would recommend tasting the arrachera steak and one of the delicious pastas."

"Sin duda es un muy buen lugar, particularmente me parece mejor para cenar. Los alimentos de calidad y el servicio bastante atento, pero creo que los precios no se corresponden con el nivel de la comida (un poco caro para lo que es). No es que esté mal, pero esperaba un poco más para un lugar tan clásico y con tanta tradición. Lo recomiendo para conocer, pero no es algo que me sienta motivado a visitar más de una vez."

"Trying a new restaurant, not previously recommended, But curious after driving by many times... buffet, around 8 different options, Mexican dishes (puntas de filete, mole de olla, pescado veracruzana, refríed beans, and you can also order quesadillas and carnitas, salad VERY basic, off the shelf salad dressing) one non alcoholic drink included, and dessert options, you can also order panned fish, steak or chicken... nice place and good service... very affordable option at $159 pesos... recommended for a basic good lunch at a very affordable price for what you get"
