"Second time we have been there. Food is good but not adventurous. More vegetarian options would be good. Lighting is too low, had to use our torch on our 'phone to read the menu. Ask for a window seat when you book!"

"Fantastic meal. personal very helpful. eating was amazing. forget to make photos, except 1 of the moonbrots! selection of appetizers and broths. then had 2 of bark meat they said was nice, 1 had lasagna (cough with garlic pizza style brot) apparently report it as the most authentic outside italian, and I had Egyptian stew with moonbrot. a vegan dish was delicious. we couldn't eat everything they had bags and crates to pack dinge. large portions, no place to pudding. with drinks, just £100 for 4 people. they also make a fixed price menu. absolutely recommended."

"Superb meal and ambiance ... had a pre theatre meal this evening.. amazing service from Florian our waiter who was not in our face but pleasantly attentive and cared for our every need. Wine was amazing. Starters.. hard to decide but fantastic calamari.. or the goats cheese salad with beetroot... mains.. we had delicious rump steak cooked blue and rare to perfection with an amazing peppercorn sauce.. burger was huge...boeuf bourguignon was melt in the mouth..and the vegetarian 'cheese balls ' is not only for the vegetarians... the complimentary French bread with the most exquisite butter is highly addictive. Desserts..wow. sticky toffeefrangipanecreme bruleetopped off with a fragrant espresso... highly recommended. Decor is fab. Music in the background is perfect. Lighting creates the perfect anbiance... and an open plan kitchen where the chefs are well under control . Very impressed. Look forward to our next visit. "Large friendly pub staff are always polite, eating is good with a lot of choice. we often visit our dogs that are always welcome and are supplied with water and tasty by the personal. pub is clean and tidy all they want to ask just whether they can do it in the foundation they will."

"This place is a wonderful authentic hidden gem, they would not know it was there. I went out with my partner. the food was nice and the service was wonderful. they were immediately made to feel welcome. I'm happy and happy. with full love! I will definitely come back and I am thrilled to find out that they also have a delivery service overall a really wonderful experience."

"A little bit rowdy but food was excellent My fish and chips with mushy peas were spot on loads of real chips too . Wife had parmo with chips and salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back there in the near future."
