"This is our third trip here and our third 3 out of 5 stars experience. Those in our party who got the food they ordered said it was fine . They wouldn 't go out of their way to avoid the place, but wouldn 't purposely seek it out either. This Sunday, after a busier-than-expected family weekend at GCSU they were out of lamb for the gyros (ok, so they 'll know to order more for next year 's parents ' weekend . Two of us ordered chicken gyros. We thought they tasted really off and noticed our gyros were different from each others. We asked the server why one had green peppers (not included on menu description but no onions, and the other had onions no peppers since we ordered the same items. Responding, the server referenced chicken pita wraps . We pointed out we ordered gyros and she said they 're basically the same thing. (The wraps have hummus instead of tzatziki sauce, peppers, and different spices than the gyro. She did apologize but said she thought they were the same thing. She was super-polite and apologetic, which we appreciated. (In hindsight, it appears we were charged for wraps which are $2 more than gyros but the person paying didn 't consider there 'd be a difference in price. We understand there 's always a learning curve (no idea how long she 's worked there but the servers should at least know the menu and if someone orders a gyro they should put in an order for a gyro . On our last trip there we had a couple of questions about items, and the server was like a deer in the headlights. A little extra training would likely be a better experience for future patrons, and better tips for the servers. We also ordered the zucchini fritters, which the menu indicates are fried in chickpea flour. We thought that meant the exterior was coated in chickpea flour, but instead, it was mostly like a falafel ball with some zucchini mushed around it and then fried. Not a complaint, just a be aware of as it wasn 't a flavor or texture we expected, and it didn 't come with the hot chili sauce as indicated on the menu. If you 're with someone who has mobility issues, be very careful, especially if going to use the restrooms. Understandably, it 's an old building and there are limitations with what they can do, but there are definitely ways to address the consistently uneven flooring. Particularly if heading to the bathrooms, and they could definitely use cleaning, some repairs, and a fresh coat of paint on the doors. Between the condition of the restrooms, and all of the menus and tables being sticky, I admit I 'm a little scared of what it 's like in the kitchen. (I 'd prefer not to know at this point. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3"

"(updated Nov 22) I am probably a little biased because I have been hoping for a vegan restaurant to come to Milledgeville for years, but I honestly think this is actually a really great restaurant and I would still eat here even if it weren't the only veg place for many miles. Note the only nonvegan ingredient they use is honey and it is only in some of the drinks or dessert specials as far as I know. Actually, I'm not even sure if it is in any of the drinks anymore. I think they very rarely use honey. I often get the Oat Burger because it is really delicious and filling. However, they recently started making a Philly cheesesteak and it is my new favorite. They also have cauliflower wings that are great. My favorite is the garlic parmesan. The mac and cheese is excellent. The baked beans are great. The barbecue plate is good they used to use jackfruit, but I think they do soy curls now. I also really like the avocado wrap, which is basically like a cheeseburger in wrap form, but with a lot of arugula. It somehow tastes very fresh. I get that when I want something less heavy than a burger or cheesesteak with potato wedges. The cakes are from a bakery in Atlanta and are excellent. The strawberry cake is my favorite. There is very limited indoor seating, but some decent outdoor seating. The staff is friendly. They can get pretty busy, so it sometimes takes a while to get your food, so I would recommend calling in advance. Updated from previous review on 2022 11 25"

"Favorit Japanese restaurant. my cousin brought me into this restaurant and recommended the gemüsetempura. I don't even live in milledgeville or anywhere near, but I make the trip when there is a opportunity to get back to this restaurant. the herbal tempura is phenomenal, her steak is tender and juicy, her sushi was never less than delicious, and her garnel sauce / tasty tasty sauce is better than any other I had. not complaining of me. I love it."

"Love this place!! It's my go-to when I want hibachi food without the hibachi price. I always get the Land Lover's (steak and chicken) with extra rice. Oh, and extra yum sauce is about ninety-three cents. Good food and good service..."
