"This is a really good restaurant in a very good value price bracket for the quality. Seasonal goose was the reason for going and this restaurant did not disappoint. Goose was served perfectly cooked with a traditional creme sauce. The dish was well balanced with marron, apple,red berries, grapes and orange. The marron and grapes were marinated in seasonal flavours. Really great taste and the best meal I have eaten in Germany. The chef recommended wine was also perfectly suited to the main course. Deserts were of high quality and generous. This restaurant really suited me. 2 people dined and the price per head for 2 courses including a bottle of wine was 115 euro. Good value for the quality and the setting was also a little slice of post-card germany too."

"This place offers a nice warm location and good dinner for cold German nights. This is the second I eat here and the service and the food were very good. It's nothing imagination, but it's simple and well done. Very recommended for everyone in the area."

"Wir waren zu viert an einem Samstagabend zu Besuch.Obwohl ich persönlich einen Tag vorher im neuen Teil reserviert habe wollte man uns im alten Trakt des Restaurants unterbringen, welches wir aber nicht akzeptiert haben.Kurze Zeit später konnten wir es uns im neuen Bereich bequem machen.Vorspeise Einmal querbeet ging in Ordnung, obwohl geschlossene Muscheln lediglich Deko ist, die mitbezahlt wird.Vor der Hauptspeise bestellten wir eine Flasche Wein mit 3 Gläsern.Ohne uns probieren zu lassen schenkte der Kellner gleich alle 3 Gläser ein.Das kenne ich anders.Die Hauptspeise kam zeitgleich.Wir hatten 2x Ribeye 300 Gramm und 1x Rumpsteak 200 Gramm und 1x Thunfisch.Thunfisch war ok,die Steaks allerdings sehr unterschiedlich.Ein Ribeye war Medium wie bestellt,das andere obwohl auch Medium bestellt, zu durch.Das Rumpsteak musste zurückgegeben werden weil es noch zu roh war im Innern.Nach der Nachbesserung war es immer noch nicht Medium!Geschmacklich war alles gut, da gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Nach dem Essen wurde zügig abgeräumt,das war es dann aber auch.Hier hörte der Service komplett auf,keine Nachfrage ob wir noch Wünsche hätten.Selbst nach bestellter Rechnung vergingen noch min. 20 Minuten obwohl nur noch ein Tisch besetzt war.Nach vorgetragener Kritik und sympathischer Entschuldigung wurde uns ein Absacker angeboten!Trotzdem hat dieses Ambiente einen 2. Besuch verdient,vielleicht läuft dann der Abend anders."
