"Outside, a classic Munich beer garden, on the grounds of Schloss Fürstenried, with a beautiful park all around. Inside, two elegant rooms. For those with kids, a pretty nice play area. The restaurant was a tip from a friend; we don't live in Munich, and it's fairly far from city center. But it was easy to reach on our way to Autobahn A8 towards Stuttgart. I've only been to the restaurant part--once inside, once outside. The beer garden, we've been assured by our friends, has some of the best beer garden staples, all made right on the premises. The restaurant is not particularly expensive (main courses were AFAIR between 12 and 20 Euro), but the quality of the food is excellent. On one of my visits, I had some of the best lamb I've had recently. On another, I had a truly excellent steak (which is not exactly typical of Germany). Other members of our group had calf liver, asparagus with pork medallions, duck--and everybody said it was excellent. They have a good selection of draft beer; there's also a rather extensive wine menu, but we didn't try any."

"One of my favorite local. cozy atmosphere, super tasty eating, friendly service. especially for steak enthusiasts a secret tip! also the prices are very fair to me, even if not cheap, but good food has its price : but you should reserve a table, as they are very booked and you hardly get what is natural for yourself. we have been there many times and are going to be very often. thanks to the great team and I look forward to next time!"

"I would have given a rating to this restaurant based on the quality of the food and service. Local wines were exquisite. Very tasty food and interesting combinations. However, during our meal, there was a mice running around the floor. This is the first...time I ever come across this, and to me, this was a deal breaker. I notified immediately the waiter and he brushed me off saying oh it's normal, we have them around the restaurant I thought that was such an inappropriate response to what can be considered as unhygienic procedures. They need to sort this out, as this is unacceptable!"
