"Nice looking place to eat and drink with a good atmosphere. We had lunch and a really generous sandwich and fries combo with a coffee. Reasonable cost and lots to eat. We will be going back. Service was friendly and pretty swift too."

"A very old premises that provided an atmosphere list in many newer pubs. The car park was not terribly large so arriving early in the evening is advisable. Very friendly and accommodating satff welcomed us immediately with very helpful direction for seating. Food was superb and very generous, delivered by polite waitress who checked with genuine concern for our comfort. A quiet and lovely atmosphere made for a very pleasant evening. Thank you."

"Been here in the past, no problem. However this time was different. Found one of only a few tables left, it was busy. Tables were a mess. A queue of over a dozen people for the bar, one person serving and after 5 minutes it hadn't moved. Gave up and left. A full pub at lunchtime and one person at the bar, ridiculous!"

"A locals favourite. This pub is really convenient for families to get together and the access is generally pretty good for an older pub. There's a huge car park with a few disabled parking spaces, and two ramped access paths at either side of the building whether you want to be in the pub, or the restaurant side. Both are long shallow ramps and step free entrances, inside has enough room to move but the pub is busy and there are a lot of tables so it can be a little cramped during Sunday and peak times.
