"We spent more than 3 weeks in Solpay in July 2016 and often dinned (and lunched at Pratu's during our stay, sometimes just the 4 of us, sometimes in a larger group with relatives and friends. There is a warm and cold buffet with a different menu every evening and a wide choice of dishes for every taste, including salad bar, soup sea-food, fish, meat, deep fried side-dishes and delicious home-made Portuguese desserts (I am Portuguese and I can recognise home-made desserts. All this costs 24 € per per adult including several helps both of food and drinks (water and wine/ beer, etc. . The premises are very nice, large tables and lots of room, windows overlooking the lovely pool; in warm evenings sitting outside is a real treat. Restaurant staff extremely attentive and very kind, keep filling-up where and whenever necessary. Children most welcome. During daytime Pratu's serves lunches and delicious light meals on the side of the pool, including grilled meat and fish, salads, sandwiches, ice-creams and pastry, often with additional surprise treats (a selection of grilled sausages and tapas being served free of charge."

"This is a favourite with the locals, it 's been around for over 70 years (or so everyone claims , it 's a small place, not many tables and not a lot of space. The service is efficient and extremely hard working but they wont become your best friends the first time you go. "I ordered a salad. It was okay. I should have ordered a more decadent dish, hence my experience and 4 star rating. Everyone else raved about their food in my party, but I didn’t try theirs so can’t vouch for them. Staff was there, but not overwhelmingly so. We sat outside on a rainy day because they had nothing inside, so that also caused the 4 star atmosphere rating-not their fault but it was a bit uncomfortable being sprinkled with water and being cold. Again, not their fault we could have opted to go elsewhere but we didn’t. I will give it another shot when it’s not raining and get something more Italian."

"We went because we were looking for new places to eat, not far from home. What a find! We ate the selection made by the chef and each dish was exquisite.
