"Das Ambiente erinnert an eine Dorfgastätte oder ein Kleinstadtloka und ist nicht sehr modern, aber gemütlich-rustikal. Die Qualität der Speisen überrascht positiv: schöne Auswahl an Suppen; insbesondere hervorzuheben sind aber die Fleischgerichte, was mit Blick auf die eigene Metzgerei/Schlachterei nicht sehr überrascht, aber sehr gute Erwähnung verdient: Das Steak hatte sehr gute Qualität, und es kam auch wirklich medium-rare wie bestellt. Auch die Salate pp sind gut, eine Dessertauswahl gibt es auch. Bei den Getränken gibt es guten roten Badener. Sehr schönes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!"

"We were in Offenburg at the end of October. When we walk around town, the sign that the needy can get a food here for free. For us it was clear that we want to support this. We didn't make a mistake. We have eaten delicious, have been served super friendly and we can really recommend the Guglhupf. Promise: We're coming back! Thank you."

"Meine Kollegen und ich haben in diesem Lokal zu Abend gegessen. Der Sauerbraten mit den hausgemachten Spätzle war ein Gedicht. Auch die Saure Rinderleber mit Spätzle bekommt unsere absolute Empfehlung. Leider hat der Apfelstrudel zu Dessert etwas für Ernüchterung gesorgt, da nicht hausgemacht und somit nicht annähernd die Qualität der Hauptspeisen.Tritschler kann absolut weiter empfohlen werden und ich werde dort sicher bei meinem nächsten Besuch noch einmal essen."

"Visited this place on a business dinner. The staff were really helpful, excellent English and the food was awesome. Everything is cooked fresh, so it takes a little longer than normal but the atmosphere is great and food is worth the wait. I had flank steak cooked to perfection, colleagues shared a huge rib eye and were equally pleased with it. The waiter made me a delicious bourbon cocktail to help with my cold. Thanks for that it worked a treat. Highly recommend this place, I think it might have a different name now... Haus Zauberflote."

"I think you have to go here with the corresponding expectations. The inn has come very years, but still preserved. The food is delicious and the price is certainly justified. So whoever expects a guest room designed by an interior designer is wrong here. The kitchen is simple, but as I said, delicious and good."
