"Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l'hôtel Émeraude à notre arrivée à la station de Valandry, alors que nous ne résidions pas à cet hôtel. C'était un samedi, jour de grands chassés croisés. Nous avons eu un très bon repas, en particulier un pot au feu délicieux, belle pièce de boeuf grillée servie à la plancha, et steak tartare. Les prix sont raisonnables, et le service très efficace. Le seul regret de la soirée à été le bruit de la salle à manger qui accueille toutes les familles en pension dans l'hôtel. Pas ce problème les jours de beau temps avec une belle terrasse extérieure ouverte pour le déjeuner."

"Regular stop off while skiing Les Arc. Hot chocolate is best on mountain - big bowls, chantilly cream, hot and creamy and good value by skiing standards. Staff in bar also very friendly and great snugg there too if weather not at its best."

"Went on the Wednesday night when the chalet hosts have their day off. They gave us a warm welcome, took our order and served us pretty promptly. Good selection of Italian and regional food. I enjoyed the set 3 course menu at €26 with a lovely peppered steak. All very clean and pleasant. A great spot I'd definitely recommend."

"We had raclette here, a local cheese -based specialty. Food and prices were normal for the area, but the menu was quite limited especially for vegetarians. Also the side salad was small and very basic. The location is wrong on the map in TripAdvisor. So we walked there and found out that we were in the wrong village! Actually the restaurant is in plan peisey. Minus one point for this issue."
