"We stopped in for dinner on our one night in Pereira. The service and staff made the night. Bernardo went out of his way to explain the concept of the restaurant and bring us a delicious meal. We were able to enjoy great food and learn more about Colombian life by chatting with him. We enjoyed having a couple of the entrees off their seasonal menu. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stop for a good meal."

"We went a day with friends and has become the place to have coffee and dessert x the afternoon; excellent attention, super friendly all who work there the chocolate cake; the velvet network and cheesecake are of the best we have tasted the coffee is delicious super good place for those who go on motorcycle; easy access and safe the restaurant is outdoors we have not tasted the restaurant but the food would look delicious !!"

"De La Chingada is a very local term to express when something is good ! And this restaurant is good ! Doesn't looks like from the outside neater from the inside, but the taste is good. I tried the Sopa Mexicana and it was different than any other Mexican soup I had before. It was tasty I recommend this place to try other options from the menu that I didn't try, but mine was good !"

"We started the evening with drinks at Vuestra but the American music at the bar was loud and annoying so we didn't venture upstairs for dinner and instead walked past crowded El Mesón to Sacramento, which was deserted, so we returned to a lovely outside...table at El Mesón. Good service, extensive Spanish menu. My paella Marinero was excellent, but my wife's seafood dish, pictured was outstanding and loaded with fresh shellfish. (My salad appetizer was ok but extremely boring). The parking lot was packed, and there were 2 tables full of 10+ patrons. Service was formal, friendly and helpful. Waiter named Alberto. No English anywhere in Pereira but we both speak passable Spanish, so no problem. Dinner came to about $70 including inexpensive but good Argentine wine. A nice experience overall, but what made it 5stars was the seafood quantity."
