"We ducked out of cold spring weather to find ourselves the first to arrive and warmly welcomed. The plat du jour was fine, but the French Fries were a nuisance, while a dish from the menu proved more interesting and authentic. Plenty of locals joined us as the afternoon arrived."

"How is this getting good reviews? Service is great and it's a little away from the square so nice and quiet but the food is definitely not great and to be honest a little odd.Tapenade freebies were nice but then it went downhill. I ordered a vegetable salad - what I got was a plate of mashed potato, hot quinoa, hot cauliflower, cold ratatouille, slice of melon, lettuce and a green ice cream (avocado or asparagus? Who can tell as had no taste). I don't call that a salad and in fact the fish dish my husband had had the same accompaniments minus the melon and ice cream. We also had 2 chicken burgers which were meant to be breaded but were not and were pretty tasteless. Add to this a dirty towel in the toilet for everybody to dry their hands on (and I presume staff and chef too!) makes me wonder what it's doing near the top of restaurants in Perigueux."

"This place specializes in a menu from the region, so geese and duck are served the primary meals. I really liked it. They follow the social distancing very well, and offer hand-sanitary as soon as you enter. The fois gras appetizer was really good, served with two different jelly. The Cassolet of Duck was special. Beautiful wind list, as well as good house wines."

"Nice place, we thought to give it a try, and we will never regret it. The 35 euro menu is not exactly cheap (for France), but it is a must. The wine (Bergerac) was the best we've had in months, and the whole was very close to perfect. Not yet a star, but if they continue their magret de canard and selle d'agneau they are preparing them right now, that star should arrive one day"

"We had a pleasant dinner here. It serves traditional Savoy fare, with generous portions, tasty and pleasant service. The menu doesn't look like it's changed for a while, and presentation and garnishes a bit old fashioned. Good price."
