"The Cariboo Hotel used to have excellent food. Well, it's not like the good old days that's for sure. My entire meal was awful. I ordered chicken souvlaki. The chicken was bone dry, the greek salad had NO dressing, the rice was aking to packaged Uncle Ben's and was mushy besides. the tzatziki tasted nothing like it should, the pita bread was instead garlic toast and came toasted only on one side. What a disapointment. The waitress, while somewhat snippy did take the meal off the bill (not that I ate my meal...I left hungry). She seemed personally offended that we complained and stated that "No one ever complains here". Over the next few days we heard many people agree that the food was lacking there. I did go a second time since all my friends were going there. I hesitantly ordered a burger and fries. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't great. I was hungry and I ate it. But overall, the Cariboo isn't the great place it once was...now it has good memories and not so good food. A disappointment to be sure."

"Went in with my fiancé an our 9 month old on July 3rd for the first time just to get seated inside and forgotten for 20 minutes just to ask what we wanted to drink then turned around an walked away without asking if we were ready to order and not get any service while the girls in the front would help an serve everyone else, we ended up just leaving without ordering will not be going there again. Very slow a disappointing not worth it ruined the first experience with our kid going to a restaurant."

"I came to this place expecting mediocre, but what I found was the opposite. I ordered a vanilla milkshake and a poutine and sat in the outside area. It took about 7 minutes for my food to come, but it was worth it. It was an excellent milkshake, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. It was nice and cold. Then I tasted the poutine. A nearly perfect combination of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds. I must say it was the second best poutine I ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good lunch or snack."

"We dined at your establishment a few times since moving to this beautiful corner of the world and I will say that the service from Jorja and the female bartender (sorry, can't remember her name) was the funniest time we had ever eating and laughing with those wonderful women warrior's.
