"I go to this waffle house a lot. I have never had a 'bad ' experience at this location. When my daughter and I walked in to this location the last time it was a different type of experince...in a good way. The employees were all happy and joking around, while they were trying to get the restaurant cleaned up. The politely asked us to hold a second while they cleaned us a table. Our server was friendly as well. The only kind of issue here was the food was greasier than usual. But it wasn 't terrible by any means. I definitely give it close to 5 stars easy."

"During our stay at the Sheraton in Roanoke, we decided to try Shula’s, the in house restaurant. The steak was amazing well cooked and with an abundance of sides! Also as a sports lover, the sporting memorabilia decor really added to the vibe! A very enjoyable stay and meal and I look forward to getting back here!"

"Third or fourth time here for dinner. Clean and service is always prompt. I have ordered the same thing the last three times. Blackened Ahi Tuna. (see pic) <br>
They have a really nice piece of tuna and the sear has always been just right. <br>
I ordered the spinach and cole slaw as sides. the entrée is like 19.00 with the two sides so not over the top for a good quality tuna steak.<br>

You could go to worse places in Roanoke. Is located near the mall so that is a plus as well."

"We went here for our anniversary. The red snapper was bland. The bbq pork chop was undercooked, I had to send the food back. The only thing that was appetizing in this restaurant was the calamari. It was 94 degrees outside and 96 inside. The restaurant had no air conditioning blowing, just a few ceiling fan spinning. The waitress was attentive and apologetic. Regardless of the temperature outside or inside, he always drinks coffee."

"Guacamole bacon burger is always a hit and has been consistently good for years. we also enjoyed the whiskey bbq chicken pack. the service was good, although the server let us know that he was short and we got our eating fast plus fast refilling on pommes."
