"Having stayed all inclusive nearby, food was getting repetitive. So we ventured out and found this really lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, really good portion sizes. Highly recommended. We had Prawn crackers. Spring Rolls (which were actually large pancake rolls) BBQ ribs. Crispy Beef (delicious)...Chicken and pineapple (sweet but lovely) Sweet and sour prawns in batter (Nom Nom) Fillet steak in pepper sauce. (The most expensive and least flavour would have again). Rice needed to order more. All in all, excellent food, not too expensive, good portion size."

"Great place and amazing value! Definitely not super fancy, but a wonderful spot with great food. Expect the paella to take 45 minutes, so dismiss all the reviewers that don't understand cooking and enjoy some tasty sangria while you wait. Also note, the shrimp and garlic appetizer is magnificent. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful place. Came here for a birthday dinner with the family. Great atmosphere and superb service. I ordered the Black Angus steak and it was perfect. I was not sure about the live music but it turned out to be very suiting. Great selection of songs and pure professionalism. Well done."

"Twice tried for the first time seafood and the second time meat. seafood option was much better. a bit expensive for what they get in comparison to other alternatives close. the service was also somewhat slow, but acceptable."

"We tried out the Carlos V in the Cita centre, the set menu offers good choice and value BUT they could do so much better with the presentation of the dishes, starters were both fine, tasty and they then let themselves down with the main courses, food was good but there was served with just chips and no vegetables or any kind of side salad or garnish, with just a little bit more thought they could be so much better. Wine price was good."

"Great evening meal after wondering just a few yards from our resort. The menu was excellent and both the Argentinian Sirloin and the Black Angus Sirloin were cooked to perfection. Good relaxed atmosphere, great service and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone close to the Lopesan BaoBao resort. Will definitely come back in the future"
