"With our pilgers to eat and we were sure we did. delicious pan fried with garnel in garlic and olive oil for three of us and a cod for the fourth. the portions were huge and tasty, but unfortunately...too big to finish! we were served brot and oliven, our meal and wee and water for four people for 47€, an excellent offer! in any case they give this place an attempt, they will not regret!"

"We ate here yesterday afternoon without prediction or research, we just passed by the afternoon. our first impression was that, although it was in a small village, it had a good parking lot that was covered with asphalt. also the outside of the restaurant...for. the dinge came even better than we entered, we were greeted by very friendly staff (especially the owner sohn) who showed us on our table and then left us with a menu while he went to get the red house wine we had ordered. the menu is very good, with many typical Portuguese styles and also a good selection of daily dishes. we chose brot and soft cheese as appetizer, followed by secretos do porto preto we think they are always delicious, but those were the best of all time. everything was served with a smile and a friendly chat. this will not be our last visit, and I would certainly recommend it to others 1st timern."

"We stopped in Chapa on our way north for a dinner and we’ve been very pleasantly surprised! It’s a very cosy neighbourhood place in Santarém but the food is just outstanding so delicious and well cooked. We’ve seen watertanks with the seafood in...the hall so everything is super fresh. House wine turned out to be very decent as well. The service is very friendly and the menu in English definitely helps. Totally recommend for all seafood/fish lovers for both lunch and dinner, it’s worth a little reroute!"
