"They work exceptionally, and I mean extraordinary. beautiful location next to the canal and beautiful industrial facility. the service was excellent when we entered through the door. honored by a beautiful man who sat us and even pulled out our chairs. he was incredibly nice to explain the background of the restaurant and the ethos behind the good. wein was excellent and, perhaps a strange comment, it is strange how fast they get fussy over glasses and they were excellent. I had a sous vide entenei on hamhock and it was cooked to perfection. wonderful balance of smokey aromas with a thick and creamy egg yolk. followed was venison from a local plot with potato terrine and other vegetables. the venison was so incredible, just melted. barely chew. amazing quality. actually the best poisoning I've ever had. rhubarb fool to finish. again excellent, sharp cut through the sweet. at the end of the meal the cook came out to talk about the tasting menus he puts on and the English weeping he promotes. they cost us about 90 for two and this included wein. they have to pay for quality and it was worth every penny. I use the word exceptionally economical and it fits this place perfectly. I think that eating and the service here fits to the likes of home, bibi’s, piccolinos, all still solid favorites of me. and I would say one of the best meals I had for one. very warmly recommend a visit. we go back to your English wine and tasting menu at night. so we went back to the tasting menu. each cure was exquisitely designed to have balanced aromen and, as they can see on the photos, looked stunning. but some critiken. the portions were also small for a tasting menu. smallest we had in a certain degree. Secondly, the food server did not know what they served, which was disappointed. we wanted to get back to absolutely, because the quality was on site. Maybe a bigger lunch would eat before."

"My friends and I visited the old glen house in the first night when I arrived in leeds (I live in the usa.) the steak and ale pee was amazing how the apple/rhubarb dessert! (truly the best bark cake I ever had) then we drove a week away to the Scottish highlands where we were pubs. from our entire trip the old glen house was the best to eat and had our favorite staff. they let us be welcome in their house. I recommend the cakes as well as the chicken burgers (my friend said it was the best he ever had.) go to the old glen house! and while you are there, they stroll down to the old glen in the woods. it's beautiful."

"Booked a surprise brunch for my parents Golden Wedding anniversary at The Halfway House. Becky was amazing at all the planning and Pete and team were as fabulous on the day!! Great food, great service and couldn't do enough for us! My parents were absolutely thrilled and everyone had such a lovely time. We will be back next week."

"I often go to the noble comb, the personal is beautiful, friendly and polite. two weeks ago, I ordered a lasagne. When it came, it looked good, something looked too microwave-shaped. When I got a fork full, I noticed what looked like carrots. I asked a coworker to ask the cook if he had put carrots in, because I am allergic to them making me sick. When she came back to the table, she said they were packed and checked the ingredients she had with carrots. I've never heard of carrots. this has been treated very professionally, however, the personal cannot be mistaken for its contemplation. two days ago we went and I ordered a classic new yorker, I think it was cold. looks very over microwave. however, as they can see, it looks dry, but the hawn was quite succultivated, although my daughter said she was a bit dry. sees all their food is packed instead of cooked by scratches. I don't want to stop."
