"Resturant is remodeled. Steves breakfast and more has changed in so many ways, except the price of the food, the amount that you get, and the flavor is still excellent. i was impressed with the new remodel that is happening at this very moment new tile, paint, copper hood, big top tables for big groups, and a new cook. yet steve and betty are still there serving and cooking like it was their home and we are breakfast guests. i am hooked on the food, service, and price in these hard economic times it is nice to go out and be able to afford a good breakfast with my family"

"We've tried Outback a few times over the last 20 years or so. Their food is usually over-seasoned (too salty) for me. We just tried again, and I ordered a grilled salmon salad. It was excellent! I don't know if their whole menu has improved, but I can highly recommend what I ordered. The atmosphere was good and the service was friendly. We will probably try again soon."

"We made our Open Table reservation, but once we arrived, there was only one occupied table. The table we had reserved however, had a nice reserved placard posted, I suppose in case the place filled up! Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Since this was our first visit, we asked for her recommendations, and received what I believe to be genuine feedback. We had the Bruschetta appetizer, which was excellent. Our entrees were spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken Parmesan respectively. The chicken Parmesan was breaded and fried (as advertised), but surprisingly very light and tasty. It was a huge portion, and the spaghetti it was served on was perfect. The meatballs in the spaghetti and meatballs were plentiful and large. Unfortunately, they lacked much character, seasoning and taste. Again however, the spaghetti was perfect, and the marinara was excellent. Apparently the Chef likes fresh Parmesan cheese, since it was plentiful on both entrees. Very good! Overall, for Springfield, Oregon, inside a Holiday Inn, I would have to say it exceeded my expectations. The prices are very reasonable, and we will definitely return to try some of the different dishes and Pizza."
