"We have gone so often and always wonder if this strange little property is even open around 1970. I always think about the Brady Bunch in Hawaii. I read on one of the Keys FB sites that there was a fantastic new restaurant inside. We have made reservations and arrived a little early, but sitting immediately. We were shocked inside the restaurant because it is very well done. Don't be fooled by the 70s! We asked about the Tiki bar back and said it was part of the lodge and no longer used. Too bad this whole property could be so amazing. We sat with a view of the water and the sunset. Our server Jessica was phenomenal and explained everything in the menu. We were very excited to see that they had a group flight and started it, and a French martini. The grouping flight was 4 pieces of red, black, yellow and snow-covered grouper. Everyone tasted differently, it was a heavenly grouper experience. The red grouper tasted light and sweet, the black was a little firmer with a stronger taste than the red. The yellow and the snowy were tender and buttery. I really couldn't choose a favorite. It's like comparing Maine Lobster with Florida Lobster, it's all my favorite! The chef sent us small cups of potato soup, which was so creamy and tasty. We both ordered the Crab Stuffed Grouper for our dinner. You can never have too much groupers! And wow, it was disgusting! My mouth is watering as I write this criticism. We ate everything while watching the sunset, and went away from this meal and said that was incredible. We never made it dessert, but we will definitely be safe again!"
