"Barrio Porteno in Toluca is by far the most unprofessional and least managed place I have ever been. By far the worst experience I've ever had with a dining facility all over Mexico. Very unprofessional. For the first time I have ever paid for food and went before I even got it to escape the terrible service and management. ... and THAT takes a LOT for me to say because I worked in food service and is really reasonable."

"Empece con la crema de langostinos...exquisita! ...al centro pedimos unos tacos de camarón en tortilla de harina los cuales vienen aderezados con un salsa de tamarindo y chipotle envueltos en tocino ....los recomiendo.Venia con la idea del lechón pero no lo tenían el día de hoy...escogí el steak de atún PARC GUEL....según Laureiro inspirado en las obras de Antonio Gaudí...delicioso...5 emulsiones : aguacate, mango, portobelo, betabel, pimienta y reduccion en balsámico...deje el plato limpio...mi esposa pidió un solomillo en nogada ...una idea original , sobre una cama de piña , nuez y granada ..la verdad espectacular. De postres ordene Filloas que son crepas gallegas deliciosas...el " alto mando" pidió un Paquito Chocolatero que se sirve con diferentes tipos de chocolates ...ambos postres son abundantes en calorías para que se vayan preparando con la dieta jajaja...todo lo acompañamos con un Syrah Argentino ELSA BIANCHI cosecha 2015 ....y la cereza del pastel fue nuestro mesero Miguel ...siempre atento y con muchas sugerencias ...el solomillo se me hizo un poco caro, fuera de esto todo muy pero muy bien.Altamente recomendable.Pagamos 1700 pesos x 2 personas con botella de tinto...."

"A jewel in Toluca: hungry on a stormy night we were welcomed inside a beautifully decorated space. Then we were treated to expertly mixed drinks, perfectly cooked food, and even a private tour of the three floor establishment. Every corner contains antique decorations amid cozy dining settings. At dinner, the filete was the best dish, the cut of the highest quality. And even the chapulines added flavor and texture to the delicate guajillo sauce. We definitely recommend this place, they know what they’re doing."
