"The name of the restaurant is La Fontaine though it is part of the hotel Le Beffroi. We visited in late May in beautiful sunshine and ate in the garden. This review is based on that experience.The restaurant is located high in the old town, so a little climb to get there, The garden is predominantly roses and overlooks the river Ouveze and almost all of Vaison. Quite spectacular.Our menu was 32 euros and started with freshly poached foies gras. The main course was gambas (large prawns) with asparagus and we finished with chocolate fondant. We washed this down with a bottle of rose. All was of a high standard and perfect for a summers day. Total cost for two was just under 100 euros.We had not booked but got there early. Many late arrivals were turned away. So suggest booking."

"Nice cafe/restaurant in the main square of Vaison La Romaine.We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always excellent. Menu has good choice for all including a good range of vegetarian options.Good value at around 30 euros for two ( main meal with wine)One criticism, service can be slow at times."

"We didn't have the opportunity to test the buffet formula, yet very attractive, but the piece of charolais and the rich and well-stocked salads are already worth the round. If you add the welcome of the boss and the staff, the place becomes unavoidable in vaon. Thanks to michel, leila and the team for the good times spent in your company."

"Quick service see on purpose what is not to please. The dish of the day was very correct. a ce sujet rien à redire. We were welcomed by a charming server recently arrived, a little speed. We smell the war machine. the rest of the servers seem to float and a little lost. there is a constant presence that has generated us that is the one of the bosses who although she does not greet you made note of presence by pressing on her staff at any time to maximize the space on the terrace."

"My son is happy that the annexe coffee had the best burger he had ate in france. we had a variety of foods (hamburgers, salads, etc.). and everyone was satisfied with their choices and quality. the service was good, the pleasant atmosphere, the clean toilet. I would gladly recommend it as a good place for lunch."

"Since the bosses have changed their cards, the dishes are insipid, fat, nothing is homemade, the meat of bad quality and the desserts at all! It's a shame because before there were dishes of the day report/quality price very well, the very nice outdoor setting (aging interior with a feeling of dirt.) damage"
