"The food is great, I have been many times and have tried all sorts of things and I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese and the Wings. This restaurant is particularly polite to English speakers which is sort of rare in Montreal. The beer is also quite good and surprisingly cheap."

"This was my second visit to this restaurant, however it was the first time for dinner. We were warmly greeted by the staff. The ambiance inside is warm and pleasing to the eye. Our menu was bilingual one language each side. Our waiter was friendly...yet professional. We ordered our meal Bavette (flank steak which was oh so tasty, cooked perfectly served with the most delicious fries! The menu has lots to offer. Our time was spent romantically and unrushed. The staff checked with us to ensure we were happy and enjoying our evening. We could have spent 2 hours there as no one pushed us to “hurry up.” It is a lovely location where we could see the water and the full moon rising from our table. Definitely recommend and will be sure to go back again. We did dine early 4pm as it was very convenient for us after a day of shopping. Needless to say we beat the rush of people and were able to secure a table without a reservation. I would recommend reserving a table if you go during regular 6 9 dining hours, as this is a gem and no doubt a very popular dining choice on Nuns Island. :"

"I have actually reviewed this place in 2012 and I explained it was the best pizza! They had a great renovation and were closed for more than 1 year and that was really tragic for me. After they were finally reopened, we stopped in March and I... although the pizza was good, was really good, maybe nothing to burn, but good. Today we have 2 different orders for the same pizza and not only the 2 different flavors, but I can bet that the sauce is not the same... this is too thick and sour and the pepperoni changes... it is not the same color and different cut! The pizza is less juicy than before! It used to be an art work, but now it's just okay... try to cut corners?"

"Augusto Al Gusto's dining room may look basic, but the food quality makes this restaurant a must-try when in Verdun. The dishes were fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced with a decent serving size. Service was fairly quick and attentive. Come try this place out when you are in the mood for Latin American cuisine."

"Service kind of odd. The waitress insisted that there were two entrées but no coffee with the table d’hôte menu. The table on the terrasse continued to wobble after an attempt by staff to wedge something. I just gave up and continued sloshing wine around in the glasses eith the wobbly table. Close by to 5160 for a show though."

"One can just taste how much caring has gone into the preparation of the food here. It is well worth the price and all menu items are excellent. I would recommend the Bavette steak; It's a bit more on the pricey end of their menu but is extremely well prepared. Be sure to also have dessert. They are prepared with a high level of finesse."

"Wow! Ordered takeout and what a great meal! We had the lamb and eggplant sandwich, spinach and cheese empanadas and the brussel sprout salad! Everything was absolutely delicious. The flavours were amazing and so fresh! Highly recommend trying this place! On top of it all, the staff were extremely friendly and just made the overall takeout experience even better!! Can’t wait to eat here again!"

"EVERYTHING!! Its a nice restaurant to go for chinease, pizza, pastas, greek, scampis, canadian style food, fast food... They have everything you feel like eating. Opened late, you can have it as take out, delivery or eat there."
