"The most terrible, untastefull food.l ordered chicken, took a long time before it was ready, it was raw and bloody inside, without any spices on it. They tried to fix it probably put it in the microwave but never the less is was without any spices or salt, very blend,and after re'heating dry, did'nt eat it."

"We had a drink and a snack here one lunchtime. After looking at the menu we decided we must try an evening meal here which we did, and then returned again. The quality of the food was as good if not better then many of the restaurants we ate in whilst in Monte Gordo. The staff are very friendly and provided excellent service."

"This restaurant specialises in dishes from Northern Portugal and when we used to pass by, it always appeared quite busy.We decided to pay it a visit during our first week and chose two speciality dishes of pork and beef both of which were very good.The female owner/manageress was very attentive and the restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit so much we decided to have another meal there during our second weeks holiday.This however turned out to be a different dining experience.One waitress serving with little help from a male person who appeared to be the owner.He stood talking to the couple on the next table to ours throughout our whole meal which proved very irritating given the tables were quite close.Our meal was disappointing.My steak was overcooked and covered in a creamy tasteless sauce accompanied by incipid chips and vegetables to match..The waitress struggled to cope with the customers and we were left for thirty minutes waiting for our bill as the male owner/manager decided to take a break outside with a half bottle of wine.It was a pity really because we enjoyed our first visit....If you do therefore decide to pay it a visit make sure the female owner/manageress is working that night."
