"Last Wednesday we were in our favorite restaurant for the first time after the curly Corona massages. All regulations have been carefully observed. We come here regularly 2-3 times a month. It's a nice and cozy place. The food is always deliciously prepared. Even the services are always very friendly. From time to time, seasonal events are held, which we can recommend. Only I cannot understand that criticisms are written beyond good and evil. The respective writers had probably had a bad day, because then one already annoys the fly on the wall. But a too negative criticism can already be called business-damaging. Just in today's time you should be more careful with reviews. That's what I had to say. We never had to complain before, unless the criticism was justified."

"Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag zum Abendessen in der Fuchs'schen Mühle zu Gast. Dies war der 4. Besuch dieses Restaurants in diesem Jahr, wohl aber der letzte für immer! Die Karte war für Weihnachten extrem abgespeckt und einfallslos. Die Vorspeisen boten lediglich Feldsalate, Räucherlachs und Suppen, also nicht gerade sehr einfallsreich. Die Hauptgänge waren durchdachter, wobei sich die Beilagen ähnelten. Die Vorspeisen waren noch ganz gut, aber der Service und 4 der 5 Hauptgänge einfach schlecht. Rehkeule schmeckte nach nichts und war sehr zäh. Sie wurde anstatt mit Preiselbeeren mit einer Konfitüre gereicht, was nicht gut harmonierte. Die Knödel und das Rotkraut schienen Fertigprodukte zu sein und schmecken fad. Garnelen waren nicht gewürzt und schienen ebenso Fertigprodukte zu sein. Sie schmückten nur nach lauwarmem Wasser. Der dazu gereichte Blattspinat war gut, aber nicht herausragend. Lediglich das Rumpsteak mit einer Zwiebelsauce schmeckte gut. Leider ein Reinfall und das auch noch zu Weihnachten. Die Gerichte wurden zudem auch noch, anstatt gleichzeitig, in Etappen serviert. Eine Beanstandung dieses Umstands führte zu einer Begegnung mit der Chefin, die anstatt sich zu entschuldigen auch noch anfing zu diskutieren. Danach wurde nur noch der Lehrling vor geschickt, da die Chefin whs zu feige oder sonst was war. Miese Führung nennt ich sowas und extrem schlechter service. Nach dem Hauptgang haben wir unseren Abend im Hause Fuchs'sche Mühle abgebrochen, um nicht noch mehr schlechte Erfahrungen zu machen. Sehr schade, denn bisher waren die Besuche in diesem Restaurant ganz gut, aber so etwas geht gar nicht."

"Located in the beautiful Weinheim Old Town near the famous Gerberviertel, in a beautiful old half-timbered house, which also offers some pleasant surprise inside. Lovely interior decoration with tasty table decorations and candles offers an atmospheric ambience even when entering. The menu offers a wide range of Mediterranean and German delights, but also appetizers, delicious soups and tapas can be found on the map. The service is happy to advise matching wines to the individual dishes. Apart from the dishes on the map, there are still some seasonal dishes as a daily recommendation. The place was well visited, which did not surprise us when we tried the delicious food. We ate: Onion steak with countrypotatoes and salad plate fish variations 2 fish fillet,shrimps, grilled sardines large gambas with rice and vegetables all a pleasure. We were thrilled and happy to come back"

"Based on good reviews here and elsewhere on the Internet, my partner and I went for lunch to the Gasthof Rose in Oberflockenbach. We arrived at 12:40 PM and the place was packed. As we did not have a reservation, we were sent into the adjoining room (Hinterzimmer), which was no problem for us.We ordered at around 12:50 PM, my partner the cheese noodles (including a sides salad) and I the Hungarian goulash (including noodles, vegetables and a side salad). While we waited for our apple spritzers, a waiter came and asked if the three beers on his tray were for us, but they were for a different table. Our apple spritzers (Apfelsaftschorle) arrived quickly but they were very watery. Then another waitress served us soup that we had not ordered but we were told that soup is always included. The soup was pretty good, some noodles and minced meat, possibly liver. A waiter came to us with a schnitzel, again this was meant for another table. We started wondering about how the service staff seemed to be overwhelmed. Another waitress came to us with a salad but took it away as it was not meant for us either. After about 40 minutes of waiting my partner asked one of the waitresses about our main dishes and was asked whether we had already ordered. 10 minutes later we still did not have our main meal. My partner inquired once more and told the waitress that we would wait for another 5 minutes and then leave. Within 5 minutes we were indeed served our dishes by a quite upset waitress. The cheese noodles were so-so, the goulash was chewy, my egg noodles were al dente, and the vegetables came as a salty purée. We had to ask another two times until we got our side salads, that consisted of leafy greens with a bit of shredded carrot. When we paid, my partner calmly stated his opinion that the wait staff seemed overwhelmed when there are that many guests. The waitress, the same one who had taken our orders, snapped at us that meals were cooked freshly and not just heated in the microwave and that was why there was a soup and salad in between. I replied that 50 minutes was still quite a long waiting time and that we had had to ask several times until we got the side salads."
