"Had lunch twice and can only recommend tasting it. during lunch, they have only a limited menu with hearty, basic Swiss food as carving with fryed. they also offer to make menu change and replace the frits with a...big mixed salad. all meals are with free suppe or salate and the portions are on the big side. the taste of eating is good, but not quite at gourmet level. the service is excellent; the waitress is one of the friendly and efficient I have ever experienced in Switzerland. a typical lunch with a softdrink costs about 20 francs (an excellent deal for the Swiss). the atmosphere is the only thing I didn't like very much: the restaurant has a cheerful American saloon situation similar to those they expect to find in a tourist city along route 66. not really my thing, but I was here for eating not the decor."

"Ambience Ambience is first thing you notice about the restaurant and it is definitely good for this restaurant. Food Food was good as well, not many choices for vegetarian but the dish which I ordered was good enough. There is a decent wine collection as well. Location Right opposite train station so very accessible."

"Zusammen mit zwei guten Freunden treffen wir uns ungefähr 8 mal im Jahr zum Tatar Essen. Auf Empfehlung eines Arbeitskollegen sind wir diese Woche im Salitre in Winterthur gelandet. Das Restaurant befindet sich gut versteckt im Industriegebiet von Winterthur in einem älteren, aber hübschen und sympathischen Haus. Die Bedienung ist herzlich, sympathisch und durchaus humorvoll.Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Tatar Variationen ist beeindruckend und erstreckt sich über volle zwei Seiten in der Menükarte. Neben dem Klassiker werden zahlreiche innovative und kreative Alternativen angeboten: Tatar Sushi, Tatar mit Parmesanhobel und Trüffelöl, mit Café de Paris, mit Creme fraîche und und und.Wer kein rohes Fleisch essen mag, findet auf der verhältnismässig umfangreichen Karte ein vielseitiges Angebot. Die Weinkarte bietet schöne Weine aus den besten Anbaugebieten dieser Welt in den verschiedenen Preisklassen.Ich habe nach einem hervorragenden Fenchelsalat ein Tatar mit feinen Käsehobeln, begleitet von einem wunderbar buttrigen Spezialöl (ich hätte den genauen Namen gerne erwähnt - leider ist genau dieses Tatar online nicht zu finden und ich erinnere mich beim besten Willen nicht mehr an den exakten Namen) genossen.Das Restaurant ist sehr klein und das Ambiente ist gemütlich edel. Vor dem Haus gibt es einen grossen Gartensitzplatz - leider war es noch zu kalt, um draussen sitzen zu können."

"I went to Restaurant zum scharfen Eck with a friend tonight, it was a very good surprise! It is a perfect location, in the middle of old town and with a beautiful view to the Castle. The food was excellent, prize correct and service very kind. The place is decorated in a very good taste, nice lights.Very nice, i can only recommend it."

"Kleines Restaurant in Oberwinterthur, schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Neben dem mit weissen Tischdecken elegant eingerichteten Restaurant-Bereich hat es im vorderen Bereich auch noch einfachere Holztische, an denen man nur etwas trinken oder eine Kleinigkeit essen kann.Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut, wir hatten jeder eine Vorspeise und ein Hauptgericht und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden.Hier hat von Anfang bis Ende alles gestimmt und wir kommen sicher gerne wieder!"
