"We had dinner here on Mon 4th Sept. The food was fabulous. But what struck us was how efficient, professional and helpful the staff was. We were served by I believe Abigail B, and she was very sweet, double checking everything, passing messages from the kitchen and even handled my revised burger order with poise and great cordiality. Well done Abigail and team. We are from Melbourne and you guys were truly refreshing after a few days of not-so-friendly mannerisms !"

"I was concerned about all the negative reviews I read about this place, having not visited for a few years, but the food is just as remembered! Big generous servings, big selection of drinks, and just generally tasty celebration food. <br/ <br/ I tried the curly fries, chicken tenders (these are massive! , loaded potato skins and garlic bread. All good no complaints here. I also enjoy the new decor, it's definitely classier while still maintaining some character. The service was also friendly and attentive, as I remembered it always was. Don't let the bitter reviews scare you away. If you were a fan of the old Hog's Breath, I see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy the new/updated Hog's steakhouse."

"Vegetarian meals are probably the least ordered items at Hurricane's and I wasn't expecting much when I ordered the Veggie Burger but to my surprise it was delicious! It had a grilled Portobello mushroom, melted cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce and 1000 island dressing in a brioche bun. I highly recommend it and I would order it again."

"On a warm summery evening, we decided to dine at Hurricane’s Grill at Brighton Le Sands. We were given a table near the window, overlooking the water – it was a great spot to see the sun set and watch people swimming and walking along the beach. For starters, we ordered garlic prawns and mushroom bruschetta. We loved the creativity of the sauteéd mushrooms and goat’s curd being the star of this bruschetta, along with cherry tomatoes and basil pesto and served on sourdough bread. We also enjoyed the garlic prawns, and the flavoured garlic oil was so delicious with the mini baguette that it was served with!"

"The food at Adagio’s Steakhouse has made a new addition to my favourite steak and ribs restaurant in Sydney. The restaurant has huge selections of menu and warm atmosphere makes it one of Sydney’s best kept secret located near the banks of the Georges River at Georges Hall, just west of Bankstown. Our foodie group has driven from eastern subs to try their steak and ribs in Sydney and the one hour road trip was worth it! Our favourites were definitely the pork ribs and the beef ribs. These succulent and literally “fall of the bones” flame grilled ribs are the highlights of the visit. We were there for a Sunday lunch and the place was packed with people walking in and out all afternoon. We ordered prime rib steak rare with green peppercorn sauce served separately just so we could taste the original Tasmanian prime cut of steak and it really is the next level with the sauce really compliments it, the steak was executed so nicely, eye fillet medium with béarnaise sauce it was lean, tender and charred on the outside, large rack of USA pork ribs were so mouth-watering even before we actually tried it, the sauce is the best ever I’ve tried so far and the beef ribs is the best, tender on the inside and the meat just fell of the bone the moment picked up from the plate. There is also the very large “Toma Hawk” rib eye steak which is almost the size of my head (it’s just very big : , perfect for sharing between us all boys. To finish the food on the high-note we ordered chocolate indulgence, it’s chocolate pudding with a hot chocolate fudge centre serve with whipped cream and serendipity vanilla bean gelato, it’s delicious! The waitress has an exceptional hospitality and was very helpful with great attitude hence made us feel very welcome. We were greeted by the owner of the restaurant upon arriving and Chris really had taken care of us so we could focus on enjoying our catching-up with us mates."

Typically I’ll marinade the ribs in spices and/or seasoning and slow cook them for a good 3-4 hours. My husband, as you can imagine, will literally rush home from work knowing that pork ribs or lamb ribs are waiting for him. So, when I found out that Ribs Burgers sources high quality grass-fed meats and supports local farmers I was interested. And after reading that when it comes to the ribs ‘’no effort is spared to prepare these beauties’’ I had to try them. Ribs and Burgers now has over 10 branches across Australia, mainly in New South Wales and Victoria. I visited my local branch in Neutral Bay, which also happens to be the founding branch. It’s located just off Military Road moments away from The Oaks Hotel. Ribs Burgers is intended to feel like a restaurant started by your local butcher, and they speak to this with everything from the vintage butcher photography hanging from the walls to the bold statements printed on the walls. They’re the pre-feast signs that this is no ordinary ribs or burger joint. Inside a giant blackboard menu covers everything from ribs and burgers (as you’d expect) to salads, sides, kids dishes and more. Early on a Saturday evening almost every table was full – a mix of families, couple and friends. We scored one of the cosy booths towards the back of the restaurant. You place your order at the counter, grab a table and then wait for your food to arrive. The drinks menu includes beers, wines and more so you can enjoy a drink, perhaps snacking on their moorish onion rings as a snack, whilst your food is prepared. The first dish I tried was"

"Have been here many times and really love the place. The one thing that stands out is the consistent high quality of food they dish up. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and every time I have walked away with a satisfied belly. It also has beer on tap (another favourite), live music in the evenings and they are one restaurant which is not afraid to take large bookings. Great specials as well every week and menu is large and varied. Well worth a try, you won't be disappointed."
