"This restaurant may be located in the forgotten part of Makati--in the vicinity of the red light district, but the food is still worth visiting for. It is on the 10th floor of Aberdeen Court, which is a hotel in dire need of renovations. It sits right across A Venue. Gulliver's has an 18th century theme, but they too, need a fresh renovation. "7 steak dinners 3 orders of oysters a foie gras salad. too expensive for me. the dinner experience wasnt worth it. the dry aged steak had too much ligament on it and also alot of fat. kids seemed to like their wagyu though.i would rather...eat at a yakiniku restaurant on pasay rd. and spend 1/3 of the bill only."

"Good servings at very reasonable price. We personally liked their pulled pork because of its smoked taste and generous serving good for sharing. Tried this restau both with friends and family and both groups enjoyed."

"Uptown Mall is fairly new thus we were not that familiar with the floor plan. Upon entry into the mall, there are many signs showing various meat and seafood skewers of Watami restaurant and they looked so good. Problem is, it is not easily visible. It is on the highest level of the mall and hidden from view at that. Watami is part of a restaurant group and this restaurant group had about 4 of their restos on one corner of the top floor. Watami is the most hidden one. So, if one wants to find it, one must explore and go all the way into this corner. Advantage is that it is relatively quiet compared to the other, less hidden restaurants.Having never tried this restaurant, we ordered the skewer samplers and sashimi and yes, they were good...as good as their pictures looked. We had the chicken sampler and the other mixed meats sampler. No regrets. A little pricey for the amount of food we got but it was delicious anyway. I'm pretty sure there is wi-fi because I saw a router but I didn't try it. Who wants to ruin a meal and conversation with social media?"
