"Thought we would try this restaurant today 7/23/2022. Food was subpar, did not taste fresh! Hush puppies were hard as a rock. Soft shell crab was over fried. They fried the Salmon! Baked potato was old. Crab soup tasted like sweet pudding. Had a mojito, had to send it back. Lost my appetite. Very disappointed. The stars are for the server Suzy who was very nice."

"Dinner was excellent. We led with the crab Brezel then had Mahi Mahi and Rockfish as Entrees. Everything was perfectly cooked with an interesting mix of ingredients and flavors and lovingly refined. Brandee was a wonderful server and boss Mac stopped by to make sure everything went well. The atmosphere is cozy in the dining room. Bar area is available if you need to prefer or wait for your table."

"Love writing a great review if the chance given. When you go upstairs and see the smokers outside; this smell only takes you. I knew if the smell was any sign of how the food would be that I was a treat. The cattle breeze was perfect. Thin cut very delicate, perfectly smoked, beautiful pink smoke line right through the meat. Mac N cheese was on point, the sausages in the Dirty Rice had great taste. Oh, and the BBQ sauces were amazing. If you're stuck on the parkway and make him hungry a great fast stop. If you like me and over the bridge for work, it's worth the ride. Great BBQ joint. I can't wait to go back. From someone who has been working at the restaurant for over 20 years, I can definitely say that they know what they do at Big Harlie."
