"4 of us for dinner on a Friday night. Decorations are classy, service very good. Food was brilliant, with every dish tasting so different from the others - always a good sign. Food took a little while but really that just reflects the care and freshness of the cooking. And relatively pricey, many dishes $29. But, so noisy, hard to hear each other at a small table. Every surface inside the restaurant is hard: they need to put in carpet, soft furnishings etc. We would still go back though, for the food!"

"This has been a regular for our family over the years, with some great dishes. We've even been across to the sister restaurant in Eltham. But this time we had a booking for 14 diners (family and friends) to celebrate an 18th birthday on a...Monday night. Everyone arrived on time only to find the place in complete darkness. They had changed their days of operation but completely neglected to honour the booking or advise of their change. We had left two phone numbers for contact purposes. Chaos ensued. The night could have been a total disaster. Luckily the Cross Keys came to the rescue and could accommodate us, but we could not be more disappointed with Nongkhai Thai. Maybe they simply failed to check their bookings at all. Even a call on the day would have allowed some changes to be made. Unforgivable for a local restaurant to simply ignore a big booking. Would normally give them 4 stars for food, beverages, service. Now I can't recommend them at all. We'll never go again, and will encourage others to dine elsewhere."

"This place is the worst and has the worst customer service I ordered something and got something different the owner did not even say ok ill change it for you, instead he argued with me and did not change my food. I asked him so I have to eat this he said yes which is pretty wow I'm a customer in the end of the day I make you money like others, then he said your mum has been coming here for a long time and I basically said this will be our last and his response was ok no problem with attitude I don't care. I have never been to a restaurant or a take away place were my food does not get changed or even get treated like this the owner or who ever it was know exactly who I am, you and your business is pathetic. You literally scammed my money. Like I told you I will make sure this goes out not only on Facebook but everywhere I can put onto."
