"My bf and I visited this restaurant a few years back and it was not a great experience. we ordered a serving of steaming shanghai pigeon, but had to wait 25 minutes and the restaurant was empty. "Great authentic Chinese food, lovely service from what seems to be a husband and wife team. He (the chef) came out to make sure our food was ok. He was very proud of his efforts and has every right to be. We ate the salt and pepper squid. Not too oily, not chewy and a nice touch of spice with the chill. Then we ordered the beef fillet hot pot. Enough for four people, this super flavour some dish came with the most tender beef strips, noodles and cabbage and was an absolute highlight. Will be heading back for more!"

"We came here a couple of years previously and enjoyed ourselves but, for some reason, never got around to coming back!Just recently, we returned in a party of 8 and secured a big round table with enough space for all of us. The first thing I noticed was that Mr Li (or is it Mr Do) from our old favourite The Lido just around the corner was at front of house. We exchanged greetings and from then on I looked at every dish through the lens of Lido. However, nothing disappointed. In fact, the smaller, more intimate space of Okay beats the open, airy feel of Lido anyway and there is little to choose between the food.Our host recommended we start with the Chef Special Sang Choy Bow and it was fantastic. "Another cheap and tasty Korean food option in the heart of Perth CBD. Staffs are friendly and the meals come quite quick too. I like the bimbimbap sold here. With $12, the bimbimbap comes in big portion + 2 spring rolls + 1 250ml can of soft drinks. This is definitely a bargain if you are looking for a quick and complete lunch. Oh, and I like the fact that they put all the different type of sauces out in the counter (including bimbimbap sauce, spicy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, mayonnaise, and many more) thus allowing you to mix and match without the hassle of asking and waiting or worse: ordering the actual meal the sauce comes with."

Had gyoza and soft shell crabs as a starter, absolutely delicious!After that I had the bento box with salmon with terriyaki sauce and honestly this was the best sauce I had in my whole time in Australia. "Great place!! I love how you can order on iPads really helps out and prevents there to be long waits in regards to lining up. Had the dumplings, chicken feet and wonton soup here. The whole restaurant has a collective feel to it with shared seating. Overall great place with reasonable prices."

"Get in early. Even on a cold Monday night early August there is a line out the front from 5:15pm-7:45pm. We didn’t book. I don’t know if you can book. It could be byo we didn’t check but some people bought in their beers. Highly...recommend the dumplings with peanut chilli sauce. The cooked cucumber was okay. The robot bought us our first dish but then the lady delivered the rest of our dishes. I’m glad I’ve visited this place. I do recommend. And for those that can’t read the order, their are pictures associated with the meal. Oh your order on the iPad for the table and you have to let the wait staff know when you’ve completed your order."
