"Little portions for the money. My Mongolian chicken was delicious. But they forgot the soup. The shrimps Spring Rolls was fresh, but packed taste. We also have the Ramen Noodle Soup. A good amount of chicken not many vegetables and very bland. I don't think I'm back."

"Wow!!! I went here for lunch today and it was BEYOND. Super fresh, super presentation and SUPER DELISH!!! This will be my go-to lunch spot from now on. I had the pork salad with mango sauce and then the balsamic soy dressing. So good.. They make eating healthy easy!"

"Out of the chain! We found this based on the reviews and the reviews were not wrong! Its small dining area, nothing imagination, but its clear, they put all their attention in the food!! It was tasteful, well done, and the staff had the highest service. My type and I have two completely different dishes... he's a Vermicelli bowel and I'm the 97 something (can remember the name) and we both shared with great joy! The coconut shrimp...OMG! And the ginger sauce comes with only the flavors improved. The pork spring roller was filled with taste and the Tofu spring roller was also good. Very recommended!!!!"

"We’ve been coming here for the past three years for our anniversary. The first year, no acknowledgment of our anniversary happened even though the next table was decorated and a slice of cake was given as a gift. Our mimosas were delivered minutes apart and I had to ask about what they do for anniversary dessert. Our server took care of us after that. Oh well, even though the reservation said it was our anniversary, maybe that was just a fluke. The next year was better even during covid. We sat outside near the fountain. This year was our anniversary. Our adult kids joined us for the first time. The table was decorated and outside seating was lovely. Sadly, our server seemed to go out of his way not to acknowledge our event. We were charged for our slice of pie and the service was poor at best. Plates were stacked up on our very small table for four and after asking to be cleared, was not cleared until the end of the meal. I waited tables over a decade and this is not difficult. His rudeness overshadowed our special day. I’m not sure why someone works in the service industry only to provide poor service. Sad to say, we won’t be going back next year. It’s just too iffy and there are plenty of restaurants that deeply care about their customers. We are born and raised in Austin and it’s disappointing since Chez Zee has been an Austin staple since our childhood. I’m sure we’ll be back for non-event brunch since my husband loves the tenderloin benedict."
