"I've visited this cafe several times in the last few months, just for a mid morning coffee usually as I've been walking by. This time I stopped early morning for a takeaway large flat white and a serve of raisin toast - only to be charged an eye watering, wallet lightening $10.30 ! Outrageous and ridiculous.The toast consisted of two small slices, about the size of your hand. This was not one of those heavy, fruit laden slices, just white bread with some raisins. Less than 400 metres away in any direction you will find cafes offering bigger and better coffees/toast for $7. I can only assume that with the proliferation of law practices, chambers and courts in the immediate vicinity they think that these prices will be paid by those with more money than sense. Service was distinctly average and typical of the new breed of owners that seem to be moving into the cafe business.There are many, many better cafes around here so I won't be returning. My Bank Manager will be delighted."

"I've been to Cookies a couple of times and so far, the food's standard has been increasingly disappointing. We ordered the prawn firecracker, curried soft shell crab and crispy pork belly curry. The star of the night was the prawn firecracker- the spring roll itself was nothing to shout about, but the coriander and avocado dip was amazing. But the positives stop there. Not only did we have to wait almost 40 minutes for our food to be served, the crispy pork belly was definitely not crispy at all and the waitress had made a mistake with last order and served us a seafood curry dish instead of the curried soft shell crab. We were not given much of a choice as we were told that making the dish we ordered would take too long and the waitress tried to convince us that the seafood curry dish is just as tasty and would give it to us at a discount. Overall, it was rather underwhelming considering their dishes are not that cheap- there are definitely more affordable places out there serving quality Thai food."

"Gliten free menu available here. The staff was really friendly, capable of making orders quickly and very concerned about me having a good time. I have to say that it wasn't the tastiest gf asian but, I really appreciate the attempt and the consideration for celiacs. The normal dishes were looking very tasty and everyone who left their seats had nothing or almost in their dishes."
