"If you are looking for authentic local Indian cuisine- Nirmals is the place to be!! Indian food is much much more than dosas, idlis and curries. Nirmal’s change their menu and focus on local food from one state every couple months. They, of course, also have tasty dosas and curries but one should try the authentic dishes they would have that time. I have been to Nirmal’s many times and have never been disappointed."

"My husband and I are very picky, and we were both happy with the food and price!! I had a couple pieces of chicken that were overcooked, but the rest and all of my husband's portion were moist and tender. The teriyaki was perfect, with extra sauce available on the tables. The salad dressing was delicious and the rice cooked perfectly. The portion size is great for $7.45!! They have a lunch special for $5, and evidently their spicy chicken is amazing. We'll definitely be back! It's a simple, no frills ambience, with walk up counter service and a large, pictorial menu high on the wall. It seems like a family spot, with Ballard High posters mixed in with the artwork. The guy working the register was friendly, and the food came out pretty fast. They seem to have many regular customers and do a lot of take out, from what we saw while eating in. Comfy seats!"

"Tmrw is your last chance Sea ppl,Seattle restaurant week is coming to an end. Tn we ordered from Issaya down in Richmond beach. Please support, they are kinda tucked away so I would imagine they would appreciate your bussiness. Really nice people. Check it, you get not 3 BUT FIVE items for $35! We tried most items from the menu. So nice that it comes with a drink, we love our thai iced tea. We tried most of the options, everything was good! Standouts were both tom yum and tom kha soups (really really the best thai soups Ive ever had), salmon pumpkin curry, l'buar( taro in coconut milk) . Treat yo self!"
