"The experience at Roost far exceeded our expectations! Although it was a Monday evening and the restaurant (as most in Pittsburgh) had few diners, we were treated to an almost private setting with perfect attentive service provided by Ryan. The menu and wine list is perfectly focused for great pairings and my wife and I both went for the Double Chop which was unbelievable... perfectly cooked and delivered with a Heitz Cellars 2014 Cab pairing. My appetizer was the Burrata Board which was a perfect prelude to the entree. The mellow jazz background music and window seating made it an excellent evening out with my wife. Note: be prepared-the double chop is a lot of food, but oh so good. We look forward to dining here again and eating our way through the menu!"
