"Eating was not good. the fish boring, the petersilienkartoffeln have not even tasted in the approach to petersilie. the suppe was so intense that we could have poured it with twice the amount of water and the brain spear consisted of tough meat. as a reaction to our friendly complaint, we were told that we were wrong with the brain spear and that only the suppe was inedible. When the bill came, everyone was on it, even those of whom we had eaten only the first bite. ergo: mistakes can happen, but whoever deals with guests should change the industry!"

"Gestern hatten wir als eine Gruppe von ca. 30 Personen in der Stefan's Stubm einige Tische reserviert. Diese waren nett vorbereitet und schön gedeckt worden.Die Getränkeaufnahme dauerte einige Zeit, die Speisenaufnahme noch länger. Aber alles war im tolerierbaren Rahmen.Dass die letzten meiner Kollegen das bestellte Essen erst ca. 1/2 Stunde nachdem die anderen schon fertig waren erhielten, solte bei einer vorreservierten Gruppe nicht vorkommen, auch wenn a la carte bestellt wurde.Ich selbst wählte eine Erdäpfelsuppe mit Steinpilzen. Geschmacklich war sie halbwegs in Ordnung, allerdings erschien mir der Preis von 4,90 E stark überhöht, wenn man bedenkt, dass ausser einigen Stückchen Erdäpfeln kaum etwas von den Steinpilzen zu sehen war.Als Hauptspeise hatte ich Gnocci mit Eierschwammerl bestellt. Die (Erdäpfel-)Gnocci wurden anscheinend ganz frisch gemacht (anscheinend waren sie aus), leider handelte es sich dabei um einen eher undefinierbaren Matsch, der mit im Kern bissfesten Gnocci nichts zu tun hatte. Die Eierschwammerl-Sauce war ok, wenn da nicht, ja wenn da nicht als Dekoration oder Geschmacksverwirrung das ganze Teller mit Rucola(?)-Salatblättern überhäuft gewesen wäre. Wem kann so etwas einfallen? Wenn ich Eierschwammerl bestelle, dann will ich Eierschwammerl schmecken, und diesen Geschmack nicht von irgendetwas anderem verfälscht haben.So musste ich zuerst mein Teller vom Salat befreien, um überhaupt an mein Essen zu kommen.Für mich war die Küchenleistung sehr schwach, drum kann ich dieses Lokal auch nicht wirklich empfehlen."

"Having lunch there with four of my (male) colleagues was the worst experience ever. The waiter gave me (I am a 32 year old woman) extra comments when he dumped the dishes, You ate up nicely ' and when I payed the bill Oh no, nobody paid your dish? . All put in Austrian dialect at its best. There was no such comments towards my male colleagues. So yes, Austrian Wirtshauskultur at its best. Just, who wants that implied discrimination in 2020?"
