"I recently moved to the area as a student and would often pass Thai Pad Thai going into town. From the outside it’s a quaint but colourful establishment which is always brimming make sure you book! Our group was welcomed with only smiles and hellos, and even accommodated for a late change to the booking by squeezing an extra chair on the end of the table. The atmosphere was charming with couples and families all dining and enjoying their evening. The extensive menu catered for all palettes and dietary requirements. The food is remarkably presented but the taste was superior to any oriental food I’d tasted in Brighton. An exceptionally good night and we walked out with full bellies and agreeing it was a very memorable place which we shall return to for both takeaway and dine in. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely birthday meal and all the heart that went into the food."

"We drive to brighton in order to eat Thai food in this restaurant. our favorites are the red and green thai curry with jasminreis. last time I tried the famous Thai dessert, sticky rice with mango and cocospy cream. That was good, but could be better. but the overall experience was great."

"Fantastic restaurant set over several floors, with small cosy rooms off the steep staircase. Large choice at lunchtime from either the lunch or all day menu. The food was all really tasty, would recommended everything we had! That includes Thai red beef curry, Thai green chicken curry, Giggling wings, fried squid and lunchtime 'tapas 'tasters... The staff were all very friendly the service was great. We were hugely impressed with how they handled a sesame allergy one of our party had. From before we booked, when we asked questions about dishes that would be suitable, to on the day itself when they double checked what we ordered. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Nice tasting food, a good variety, including enough vegan dishes. Friendly staff and very affordable prices. The food came under 10 minutes, although the place was packed. You buy a main dish and a page that fills perfectly, and under £10. If you do not starve a main will be enough. But again the flavors are amazing and I will take friends and family to Pompoko, 100% recommended!"

"Some of the best noodles I’ve ever had. Handmade fresh, and the flavour is amazing. I had ones without meat, my bf had ones with slow cooked pork, while mine were lovely I was instantly jealous of his. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be paying a visit and will be having the slow cooked pork. Delicious!"

"Disappointed. Chicken sateh, no way was it cooked from raw, hot on outside cold in middle, chewy, just poor. Pe neang beef curry, again just ok asked for spicy, got a bowl of chillies which again made me question freshness of dishes..reheat? Sorry, not again"
