"Found this place driving on the 60 freeway. Had to stop and check it out. These coconut desserts are sooooo delicious. I have t tried all the flavors yet but I definitely intend to. My favorites are mango and Oreo so far. I really enjoy the packaging as well. Also if you save the contains and bring them 10 you get a free coconut dessert. Yay!!!"

"Upon multiple visits here, I've learned why Ruen Pair was so high praised in Hollywood. If you know what to order, there's quite a lot this restaurant has to offer. On my most recent visit, I had opted to get 3 dishes that I've been craving. -Thai ISSAN sausage, an appetizer plate of delicious savory Northern style sausages served with peanuts, ginger, and Thai chili. The sausage had been infused with rice like Korean blood sausage. The meat was tender and packed with flavors. When you eat it with peanuts and a bite of Thai chili pepper, it's superb. -Half order of the BBQ Thai chicken, served with a sweet sauce which I didn't use. I think this dish is called Gai Yang in Thai. The meat was wonderfully seasoned. So there was no need for a sauce. One thing I did noticed. The chicken breast meat becomes dry if you don't eat it while it's hot. So for this particular dish. Go for the white meat first because moisture tends to escape as it cools down. Larb with beef, pretty much Thai meat salad. Made from Toasted sticky rice powder (khao khua), this was the dish I was most excited to try. I got an order of steamed sticky rice($1.50) to go with this dish, and it was amazing. Though I thought the portion was a little on the small side, all in all, a very tasty dish. My friends ordered the yellow curry and pad Thai. One of the complaints from my friend about the curry was that after eating all the dishes I had ordered, it was too flavorful, and totally overpowered the flavors of the curry. My other friend ordered the pad Thai. I had a taste, it was pretty good. I usually don't like pad Thai due to it being way too sweet. But Ruen Pair did a great job balancing out all the sweet and savory flavors. Serve is always good here. Food is slightly on the more expensive side(for Asian food). But you don't have to deal with LA traffic and go to Hollywood for an authentic experience. We are blessed to have such a great restaurant here in the 626."
