"Hidden gem, worth a short walk from the city centre for delicious Japanese curries and yakitori! I had the crispy tofu curry, my partner had the classic chicken katsu and we shared chicken karaage with Japanese mayo (lush . All for about £20 so well wortj it! Left super full. Curry sauce was awesome, sticky rice perfect for chopsticks. Chicken karaage juicy and crunchy. Staff also super friendly and you can watch anima as you eat : a nice spot"

"My daughter insisted that we visit chaophraya in some places to appreciate the aromes. we were not disappointed. I chose the chickensatay star and the green curry with cocos rice main to measure the stack dishes. I also chose a scallop ceviché to experience the unique chaophraya side of the menu. all dishes were served very quickly and efficiently. only the aromen of the dishes on the table were mouthwatering enough, the aromen were even better."

"The food is only average, if you are expecting proper authentic hawker (street food avoid. Food served on cold plates, making the hot food luke warm. Service by the staff non existent, even when ther were only a few tables in use. Over priced for what you get, even the Didsbury crowd avoid it as it was desserted on a Saturday night. Billing errors or sharp business practice."

"Hidden away among the many chinese restaurants of chinatown, this thai restaurant is much nicer that its entrance would suggest. Climbing a fly of stairs you access an elegant wood-panneled dining room, decorated with flowers and thai furniture. The menu is quite vast and can feel a bit disorienting, but none of the dishes me and my friends tried disappointed us. We tried green chicken curry, pad thai, moo yang (sweet marinated strips of pork) and tamarind duck, all accompained with coconut and sticky rice. Although I have had better curries and pad thais in elsewhere before, Phetpailin's are quite good, with curry well balancing its spicyness with the coconut's sweetmess. Moo yang was especially good, the meat having deeply absorbed the sweet marinade flavours. With a main with a side of rice priced at around £11, Phetapailin makes a great and competitive alternative to the chinese restaurants in the area."

"My retter, when I believed in Britain for Korean life means! came here several times and they never failed me. the restaurant is relatiw small, but they serve quite authentic Korean food in comparison to other Korean restaurant in the city. my favorites are definitiw the bbq and kimchi jeon/pancake. they also served the salad package with the bbq. If I had compared the food with the in Korean or Asian countries, the definitiw would be a good one. but because it is in Britain. I would say that it is worth definitiw"

"Delicious fresh sushi and brilliant customer service. Ordered the Sushi Platter, Crab Tacos and Spicy Edamame. Highly recommend all 3 which were mouth watering and absolutely stunning; especially the Crab Tacos which blew my mind a little on the first bite. A feast for the eyes and stomach a must try!"
